Agree. I'm trying to think of a better option for a wide player for us but these 2 are the best of the affordable and not out of our reach players. Mata has gone and I haven't seen Lavezzi play before so I can't judge him. Also Ruiz doesn't seem to have impressed Redknapp.

I found it interesting that when we were last linked with Robben, he said that his dad had been talking to us, and that we were a "great club" but that he wouldn't be joining.

It gave me the impression that he didn't want to rule things out in the future.

TBF that is alot of money for a player who hasn't played 30 league games in 8 years and no resale value

Robben is an outright match winner. If you only get 15 performances a season he is still worth the money.
