Magath hated Jones and Jones is just Jenas with a German passport....that's a no go. Plus they have Dejegah as a running CM.

Ochs is already purchased. Hutton is not a consideration

Wilson, Kranky and Pavs would best suit their system. But they already have players in two of those positions.

For DM, they have Josue, who Magath installed as captain when they won the title. Doubt he would spend 12 million to replace him with Wilson (Levy won't lose money on him).

Pavs...maybe, but they already have Helmes and Mandzudik...good paring. Better than any we have. It would depend on whether he's ready to let Grafite go.

So that leave Krajcar. I think they might be in for him. But they won't spend too much when they can just pop over to Croatia and get the next Kranjcar for cheap.

Kranjcar is actually being linked with Wolfsburg via Bild (as a Diego replacement).

For their striker needs, don't forget that they also signed Lakic (although that was prior to Magath taking charge).

Anelka has a really poor goal record for chelsea one season aside IMO

But there isn't a pre-contract in place, as I already said? Also, told you cudicini was staying

I know that is blowing my own trumpet, but since we're keeping records now and that's the only definitive thing I've said so far...

Feel free to blow that trumpet, I don't post much but I try to keep tabs on the ITK and I'd say you've been one of the more accurate over the last few windows.

As for the log, it would prob help the mods to keep track if you posted things like the Cudicini info to the read only section.

Now I'll take my tongue out of your arse and go back to lurking...

Sorry mate but have to disagree on some stuff there.

Jenas, Hutton I agree.

Palacios: Youre right about Josue, but hes not the youngest anymore and Palacios fits the bill with what Magath expects from most of his players, hard-working, dispciplined characters. Not saying it will happen but I think its slightly more possible than you suggest.

If they need a striker will depend on Grafite leaving or staying. In Wolfsburg forums its commonly known (due to interviews with Magath and their own ITKs) that Magath doesnt think much of Helmes. Hes too lazy for his liking and didnt impress at all at Wolfsburg, hence why he scarcely even played the last games under Magath. Most of them guess hes off anyway as soon as a club wants him and offers at least some of the money they spend on him. It remains to be seen if Grafite will stay in Germany or not. Guess we will find out in the next weeks. Some weeks ago before the final matchday Magath said in german TV (Think it was Audi Startalk) smth along the lines: "Having a strike force of Mandzukic, Lakic and Grafite most Bundesliga clubs would envy me for that. No mention of Helmes. So i guess its only question of Grafite staying or leaving.

Kranjcar: Today were news in the SportBild that Wolfsburg are interested. This one all depends on whats happening with Diego. A statement is expected in the next 2 weeks. Most fans want to get rid of him because of what happened on the last matchday, but going by Magaths statements after the game its still not clear what he will do. If Diego leaves I think they might be def in for Kranjcar.

I just hope we don't drag our feet as usual. We need the new signings to be playing with the team pre season. Utd have shown how to do it. They need a keeper, they buy one.

We need a strike force , chop chop Harry and co.

Anelka has rarely played at CF for Chelsea in recent years. Still a class goalscorer, although I still think we need someone better at attacking Bale and Lennon's crosses...

Thanks vedi and dino. I obviously missed a few changes involved with Magath's return, especially Helmes.

Selling Modric would be a monumental fuck up. Selling Palacios is risky, but we will get away with it by buying one of Diarra or Parker.

Diarra fair enough, no problem, that's a like for like upgrade I'd live with, but not Parker.

Parker's role would be more a natural swap for Jenas's. He'll put a foot in but his game also involves going from box to box, chipping in with the a couple of goals and assists. Parker needs to playing next to a Sandro or a Palacios.

Personally, despite being different, I'd rather jettison Huddlestone who excels at nothing except the superficial.

So there has been two pieces of ITK in the last 24 hours. Thank you Roger Morgan and Archibald.

I have to admit that having recently joined SpursOdyssey the quality of itk is..well..pretty good, whereas on SC the itk discussion is the best by far. Just a shame about the WUMs.

Falcao springs to mind...this guy can head the ball no matter how bad the crosses are

I know he'd be great for us but I'd cry if we bought drogba. Possibly my most hated player in the league. His whining, playacting and general pussyness really isn't "the spurs way".
