I do wonder if the sudden change from loan to sale on chadli means we need the money for something, maybe even trying to sign isco outright.

Probably just a change in WBAs situation though.

Chadli and Isco share the same number and play the same position.

Surely that's too much of a coincidence?

This argument doesn't really add up, because the stadium more than pays for itself. Extra seats, extra boxes, extra hospitality, third-party leasing of venue, NFL money, the new TV money: all that income is guaranteed over time, and is not dependent on team performance. (Financing could even survive relegation.)

Nor is it dependent on how Spurs itself is being run day-to-day. There is no imperative to hit profit targets in order to finance the stadium. I expect Spurs to be run the exact same in the next 5 years as in the last 5; a tight ship, modestly profitable, punching above its weight. Since we were never going to start spunking megabucks on Galacticos before the stadium, so I don't expect us to do it going forward either. So it's no change, not a worsening of the situation.
It's a massive fixed cost that needs to be financed and won't start paying a return for a long time. Of course it makes an impact. We used to be one of the bigger spenders in the league and now we're the lowest. Next 5 years probably will be the same, but only because we're paying for the stadium.

a deal for Isco right now would have to be fairly advanced in the signing to actually happen in 3 days. By all reports and ITK it doesn't seem at all that we are that close

There was nothing about Son last year until It was pretty much done.

Good draw at Goodison, workman like home win over Palace, out pressed by Liverpool but by no means was it one way traffic.

We have enough cover across the pitch and I think we should show more faith and patience in CCV, Winks and Josh, and Alli for that matter. The Eriksen Kane axis ain't functioning, but probably will, a goal for each and they will both be back in the groove I'm sure.

The real concern is Njie and Son, both of whom Poch doesn't seem to fancy. Son does weigh in with goals when selected so any replacements have to have end product, which is of course what Zaha lacks.

Oh and forget the likes of Isco, just like Gotze. There is no point getting excited. At all.
