Once an ITK announces 'done deal' he's putting his credibility on the line. This deal is clearly not done.

Done is a very definite word, especially when it comes to Spurs ITK. This isn't really about Akqa, more about SS57, myself and everyone involved in ITK following pre-07 still waiting for Torres to be fit enough to make his Spurs debut.

We'd even settle for Ade at this point.

Done is also a professional term for 'castrated'. I feel a tightening of the loins, a hint of lemon juice in the cornea and a shift of octave. Something is afoot. Even though I speak of groin.

I was completely wrong. If it's not on the OS then it's not done. I had forgotten that the OS had an impeccable reputation for updating relevant information instantly and is notoriously quick.

And it is inconceivable that a club might delay an announcement for any reason whatsoever, because they are all like us and want to shout from the rooftops the very second they do anything and tell the world about it. They are not shrewd, they are completely reactive and do not have any business acumen.

Quiz question: when did AVB start work? 1: mid to late June 2: Early July.

Pienaar has clearly not signed for Everton, otherwise news of the deal would have been on one or both clubs' sites. Why delay the announcement? It's a re-signing the world and his wife are expecting to happen, after all. If Akqa had said, 'Looks like Pienaar is heading back to Everton, just a few details need to be sorted' no-one would have batted an eyelid. Once the phrase 'done deal' comes in to play, ITK reputations are on the line.
