The way this Fazio story is shaping up is reminding me of how Mertesacker started at arsenal.

His first season everyone was slating him til the cows came home. And second season he was a complete rock for arsenal.

Now obviously we haven't witnessed fazios second season here but from what I've seen in his first season here he was no way as bad as people go on about him. He just needs to learn from the season past and have a proper pre season under his belt and I'm quite sure we will see a much improved Fazio.

Mertesacker does well partly because he has a quick partner in Koscienly... Verts is slow and Dier albeit quicker, still has lots of learning to do.

I don't believe you, because we have pace (on either flank we have Rose & Walker) what we don't have is players in the final third that think quickly.

Or have any pace in the final third. Aside from you thats where everyone on here is talking about......unless you want Winks and Pritchard playing up top...

The more game time Dier gets the better he will become. same progression like Bentaleb in his second season.
