Hertyid on COYS: Poch thinks this is done and he should be presented at the Everton game. (Referring to Berahino)

Bad boys being Ade and Lennon as previous ITK suggests I presume...?
The irony if we sell Lennon and they present him before their next game against... Oh Wait... o_O
I was teasing an Everton ST holder on Friday about how long they were taking to sign him, and his view was that Lennon hadn't offered enough to justify them offering him a permanent contract. (This surprised me because I'd sensed that his arrival at Goodison had coincided with an improvement in their form, but it seems that their fans certainly haven't taken to him.)

Regardless of who is or isn't on our list I think we've reached that stage where clubs unwilling to sell will not be pushed over by key players acting up. Sotons board proved last summer they can stand up. Therefore think we can rule out Wanyama. Whether he was actually relevant to our dm targets or not I don't know. Coz I know fookarl.

On the other hand the market has known wba are willing to sell Bera for some time now. I can understand why a few nervous types remain concerned at the risk of a late intervention from either Manc club. I am too. Looks like we have all our eggs in this basket and the few alternatives mooted do not whet the appetite. The stakes are so high.

Bera in and a squeaky win over Everton means we are back on track. Some will again forgive and forget the boards strategy will have cost us vital August points. I will wonder why we didn't get him done earlier, by passing up on yet another defensive signing to help balance the books. (I know we concede loads of goals but that's because of our propensity to dangerously give the ball away and our lack of help for the fbs on the flanks.)

Thank God.
We haggled hard. Otherwise Berahino would have been here some time ago, I'm sure.

If agreed, seems ridiculous he might not be in the squad for our next match! Don't see how that helps us or WBA.

Agree, you would have had a field day against us Cliff.

Are they going to bring him out on a golden chair to the sound of trumpets?

Hopefully this is really done and not "Willian" done.

Why do i feel so underwhelmed by SB? We are going to be spending circa £20m on him and I am sure that there are better players out there for that money.

Praying for some links to a DM as that in my opinion is the next priority. Got to get tighter at the back.

Alderweireld was presented to the fans before the Stoke match and he still played. Hopefully that'll be the case with Berahino.

the info is attributed to poch himself. We know he's highly reluctant to throw players in, preferring them to bed in on the training ground first. Even if he signs as early as today and trains tomorrow, poch certainly wouldn't start him. Bench is best we can hope for. Which I'd be cool with.
