Good morning

Here's a new thread for the discussion of ITK.

It's gone very quiet on the ITK front, with a few JJ Tweets being about all we've had.

It's still VERY early days though. I don't think pre-season starts for a couple of weeks yet, then you've got haggletime, then you've got Levytime on top of that so we're not expecting to see anything happen for ooooh, two months :D

Didn't we have a veritable storm of minor ITK updates in the last 24hrs or so A&C? Stuff from Dragon, JJ and others?

I know most of it was poo-poo-being press rumours and the like, but denial ITK is just as interesting to me as new player ITK. Think it's been a good couple of days!

Looks like Lemar is joining Arsenal , where is that rope? Who says CL will buy you happiness? £££ is the king unfortunately. Can't wait to see who the alternative is.
Unfortunately this is the nature of the beast. 3 years on from now we might be in the same boat these wealthier clubs are in, but that isn't how it is right now.

But will levy spend it? Here's hoping pochettino can work some magic on sissoko is the preseason.

Always thought this window especially was going to be a challenge for us. We cannot compete in the wages and fees front. Will be frustratingly interesting to see who we end up signing as the alternatives. We have been punching above our weight, and I seriously hope nothing does not give in this department :dummy:

Remember the Saturday morning we signed modric, we need something like that now.
The problem now is Levy's willingness to compete with others, and the perceived idea that all clubs are a washed with £££s.
Its going to boil down to his much you are going to pay.

Interesting that JJ said yesterday that the club were not frustrated with transfer business. Perhaps they have alternatives already to go and always felt Lemar deal was unlikely.

I wish we paid a lot of money now to secure our main targets than have to spend a shit load at the end of the window when we've run out of options.

Gutted about Lemar.

There are still numerous players in market who could improve us. If Lemar wants Arse, then he has also chosen career stagnation under Wenger. So not bothered.
