Sounds to me like his agent, knowing Arsenal are flush with cash, is floating this rumour to get a better deal off Levy? Honestly, people on here are worrying far too much, Wenger never goes back for players who have left Arsena, just not his style.

we all got assured that lessons had been learnt from the last transfer window(s) debacle. Clearly not. I cannot believe we are nearly two weeks into the season and 6 days before the deadline closes and we still haven't fu**ing signed anyone other than a couple of freebies

As someone said, it could be the agent forcing Harry's hand. It sounds very similar to the Adebayor to Madrid/Inter scenario just a couple of days ago. In any case we still have Sandro coming back soon.
