Good morning ITK addicts, the start of another week. Who knows what it may bring?

Whinging? Wailing? Negativity? All of these in abundance.

Here's a summary of the weekends events starting with Benzema

Benzama. We are 100% in talks and trying.
Going on to Abel Hernandez

Another bid going in for Abel Hernandez... from what I've heard he is a major target.
Which led us to Adebayor..........

Its all posturing! talks ongoing
And we ended up with more on Vucinic

Vucinic deal has stalled. We have agreed a fee! However...Roma want the cash upfront and we are offering in installments
Friday came and went but the promised signing did not happen. It never does.

FEELING THE STRAIN?

I'd advise anyone who spends a large part of their day hitting refresh in this thread to go outside, get some air and take a long break. There's what? 27 days to go? The pain hasn't even started yet.

This morning, instead of rounding up all things Spurs, I thought it would make a bit of a change to take a look at a few other things as well.....

JOEY BARTON reassures Newcastle fans that he has no immediate plans to leave St James' Park, despite rumoured interest from Manchester United, he said, before chinning the reporter and biting his nose off.

Actor TIMOTHY DALTON - famous for his role as James Bond - has revealed he is a lifelong Manchester City fan. Where were you when you were shit?

SEPP BLATTER had his revenge when former Fifa presidential candidate Mohamed Bin Hammam was banned from football for life after being found guilty of attempted bribery. And lets face it, if anyone in FIFA is to know who is self serving and crooked its Blatter.

Tottenham boss HARRY REDKNAPP has reiterated his desire to keep hold of unsettled midfielder Luka Modric, even if Chelsea push up their bid to £35m. "He is worth an awful lot more money than that [£35m]," Redknapp said. "Really we're not looking to sell Luka.

I wish he'd shut up. Not that I think he's said anything wrong, more becuase it feeds the tiresome drivel that gets posted everytime he opens his gob.

HAVE YOU DONATED YET? WELL HAVE YOU?

SC needs your help! Do you sit on here spamming the life out of the thread? Is this the first thing you log onto when you get to work in the mornings? Then please help us keep it going by making a donation!

EVERY LITTLE HELPS!

According to many ITKs, today is going to be the opening day of players leaving. Hurrah!

This window is looking increasingly like the last one! Negativity on this thread, coupled with moments of faptastic joy at the prospect of positive ITK, and then the despair again setting in when the realisation that we've not got a "done deal" for X player.

I'm predicting a deadline day desperate move for Carlton Cole! Bring it on

AC you shouldn't write so well. Missed my bus stop again this morning reading your round up. Didn't bother me too much but the passengers went mental!

Think they must be gooners.

Don't mention Can't Control, you'll only start Hot-Spur off.

Mind you, X is a player we should be after, he'd fit right in. 20 goals a season guaranteed (it's written into his contract).

No doubt we will look back at this window ad have a right old laugh at ourselves for getting overly excited at some of the names we have been linled with. Think we all need to take a reality check.
Robben, Schweinsteiger, Auguero, Eto'o to name a few, and we can probably add to that Rossi, Benzema etc....

I hope I am wrong, but I am slowly losing the abilityto live with transfer rumours, ITK and Tottenhams transfer policy in general. Its all so fcuking stressful..............

It'll make the signing of Ronaldo all the more enjoyable when it happens :)

This week better see some bloody action.

There will be movement today. Movement I tell thee.

Something may happen with Spurs as well.

Well im feeling rather pessimistic today so am therefore predicting another poor window which will cumilate in a November sacking for Mr Redknapp with spurs languishing in 11th.

I am normally a very postive person but this lack of concrete movement is getting to me

Can we have some very postive ITK please to lift the mood???

A bit of a disappointing weekend in that I think we all hoped Vucinic would be done by now (although as ever it's worth remembering that transfers can stall over lots of things).

I don't see Benzema happening as I'd imagine he has his sights set slightly higher than us, and didn't he recently come out and say he was happy at Real?

Hernandez seems more like the type of purchase I expect us to see but we shall see.

I think if we haven't got rid of the likes of Keane, Hutton, Dos Santos and at least one striker by the end of this week I'll be concerned. Lets hope that them getting back from South Africa speeds along their moves.

Pretty much word for word what I said to my colleagues in work on Friday.
Of course things could change but this is how I feel at the minute.
I know we have a splendid team, probably the best for 20 years, but we still lack a quality front man, the mood in the camp must be effected my he Modric saga, our Manager and Chairman are apparently at loggerheads and we don’t seem able to attract the players we want.
Some good ITK on targets and a getting rid of Keane, Bentley and Hutton would keep me happy until deadline day.
