Not sure on that one. We haven't exactly created a boatload of chances so far this season, and whilst N'Jie will hopefully provide some help in that area I think there's significant work to be done on the creativity side.

Doesn't preclude a striker though.
I think the main reason for not creating chances is not having enough options to play too, more specifically not enough forward thinking players looking to get beyond the last man. There are plenty of attack minded players in the team but most of it is in front of the defence, Lamela is another of those. I would happily exchange Lamela for a player who looks to get into the box more and provide a ball for the creative players. I particularly enjoyed seeing Dele Alli continue his run into the box for his goal, it's something I felt Paulinho should have done more.

Twitter q&a's probably annoy JJ just as much, if not more, than sc q&a's. And all twitter q&a's are is a way of circumventing the SC rules on q&a's. So I say, we ban twitter q&a's also and if the culprit is an SC member, they dont even get a warning. Auto ban for knowingly circumventing the SC rules for personal gain.

BTW, did you know my Twitter handle is 'yankspurs'

We have the youngest squad in the league though, Pritchard is only 1 year younger than Eriksen, had a fantastic season last year in a gruelling league, he is ready.
Yes but he has zero PL experience. As we've seen with Walker( Villa) , Townsend (QPR)and Caulker(Swansea) it can be very beneficial for young players to gain experience at another PL club without the added pressure and expectancy you get at Spurs.

I said earlier that I wouldn't expect Berahino before Thursday. Thinking about it though, I could see WBA hanging on til deadline day to save face.

Few things on Pritchard:

a) He is still regaining fitness. What are we going to play him in a Premier League match against Everton to ease him in? Probably not. Loan *would* be beneficial in that instance.

b) "Loan" does not mean "season long". It could be a month.

c) "Loan" also doesn't mean to a lower league.

Say Pritchard goes for a month to Watford. Is that as worthy of the angst of the last few pages?

Seriously, guys. I wouldn't mind, but it's me that A&C makes wash all your knickers after pages like this.

From watching Pritchard's interviews I really think the boy has something special about him.

There's only one way to find out.

Highly doubt he'll be going on loan, and JJ's comments hardly constitute ITK in this instance I'd have thought.

I have very much been in agreement with this argument all along, however loaning Pritchard is just weakening us unnecessarily. I also maintain that Lamela will prove to be far more useful than Townsend if we have willing runners in front of him.

Examples being United and Leicester, we just look congested. But bringing in more direct minded players will hopefully give more forward passing options and potentially more space for the attacking trio and the CF to operate in.

People criticise the likes of Lamela, but to be fair to him there is little movement for him to pick out most of the time. We need that balance between forward thinking players and supporting players to find their runs.

I will be extremely angry, nay apoplectic even, if Pritchard isn't a proper part of our first team plans now he is pretty much fit. He's earned is chance. He's ready. He doesn't have to start every game but he deserves to start seeing some proper first team game time.

What are the rules on loans between teams in the same league. Don't they have to be for a certain amount of time?

Don't be daft. It's a free world and folk can do what they want on twatter, whether anyone else agree with it or not, within the bounds of decency of course.
SC's rules don't extend beyond SC.
