Is that from there newspaper story roundup though or from Sky sources? Not the Sky sources are greatly reliable themselves but I'd believe that over a newspaper story.

ultra optimistic mode (even though i still think he's coming to us):

-the chelsea/other club gazumping fears are valid
-madrid wants bale at some point
-spurs/madrid work together, using the partnership for once, on putting out a fake story about madrid wanting paulinho, doing us a favour in return for further bale assurances down the line whilst scaring off 99% of potential gazumpers if madrid's interest also appears valid
-paulinho signs unchallenged

complete bollox probably but it's early. my creative spark will be extinguished by 9am, not to worry

I was half asleep when I had it on so cant remember, but a quick look on SSN's newspaper round up shows nothing on there.
