Just a thought re 'blue & yellow' (sorry A&C - I hate it too).

POTL has always been adamant that we will sign 'yellow'. If yellow is, and always has been, Rossi, isn't it just possible that we have an agreement in place to buy him after Villareal played in the CL qualifier? They won't win it (so can cash in after they qualify) but needed him to get into the group stages.

Like I said: just a thought.

Harry said that "the chairman is still working on a couple more transfers", Samba and Diarra? Could only see Rossi if we sold Modric and dropped VDV into the middle (or can he cover the right?).
Suddenly things don't look too bad and I might watch the final day of the transfer window.

STORM referred to the upset that two former arsenal players could cause with the fans and also Stars of Real Madrid (st o rm). Sorry if I was a bit creative for some with the word 'stars'.

Some people asked why I kept It cryptic. Back when I first posted on 30th July their names were not being banded about the press as they are now.

Everything passed on in good faith. Sorry it's frustrating for some, I can only pass on what I feel won't compromise me personally.

I'm thinking POTL's 'Yellow' is actually Leandro. He did say we are being aided by the fact we are the only club to show a firm interest. That is not true of Rossi. Hopefully we do get a second striker in. After Pavs performance last night and Defoes against man yoo I think it is Obvious that it's area that needs strengthening

It's just as important to move some more of these bench warmers/bottom line hitters. It will be hard to bring in more players without the likes of Bentley, GDS, Hutton, Bassong and some others going elsewhere. I could see us having the majority go out on loan with the option to buy, so we can bring in someone like Samba and Cisse.

I'm not going to get excited about falque. Seems similar to GDS but with less international experience. Ade is a great signing loan or no loan. In convinced we have no chance with Rossi and other of that calibre. Id be surprised if the journos info re: KJH comes off as not linked anywhere and the journo is get to be right about anything. So in summary i have no idea but feel much better about the next few days!!

I have this feeling we will bring in diarra and some of you will hate it but Joe cole too . Not sure if on a loan though or permanent .

I'd like to see Diarra come in, or a battling CM, but if we don't get one I'd happily keep Palacios.

Can anyone explain the Iago Falque loan deal? If we believe him to be a great prospect then surely we would have bought him outright. It is highly unlikely that he is going to feature very much this season given that he has never got a game at Juve, Bari or Villareal. Presumably as he was 21 on the 4th January, he will not count as one of the 25.

Still gives the journalists an opportunity to dust of all the Shakespearean quotes.

Perhaps he was the blan b to Mata? If we didn't acquire our top target, there is a loan target available along with a slight shift in transfer plans?
