Happy Tuesday ITK'ers! Not much to bring you this morning but i've heard that channel 4 are making a new program where chav's cook meals for each other............it's called scum dine with me

An old friend finally broke wind yesterday when HH said..........

Can confirm we have bids in for 3 players, and as Cher would say 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

2 strikers both have been mentioned before, not blue and yellow as far as I can make out, and a Central defender, and from what I understand we have been looking for cover at both full backs, but nothing on the radar.

Medical at Reading this afternoon. Will be a Reading player by the end of the day.
One year deal- no option to buy at the end of it.
Purely for experience- with the hope he comes back to us for next season ready to compete.
Let the fun begin- merry-go-round has started at WHL.
Reading? Blue? We've half solved it!

In order to save some of you posting the usual, boring, repetative and nothing 'early thread' comments, i've decided to make them for you, save you the bother. You know who you are.

Poster A: This is the week

Poster B: Something will happen today

Poster C: Good morning guys

Poster D: It will be a good week

Poster E: This window is depressing

Poster F: I'm so pissed off

A NOTE ON CRYPTICS: We've recently had a small number of complaints about cryptics. It seems a handful of you hate them.

Please be assured that we are treating these very seriously, have taken on board your concerns and will be sitting under the shade of an oak tree with Boy George, a song sung in French

No guessing games required as this is not ITK. It's a sad indictment of the population of this thread these days that I even had to type that disclaimer.

HAVE YOU DONATED YET? WELL HAVE YOU?

SC needs your help! Do you sit on here spamming the life out of the thread? Is this the first thing you log onto when you get to work in the mornings? Then please help us keep it going by making a donation!

EVERY LITTLE HELPS!

That sounds a bit like a Life a Brian moment A&C:grin:

A&C :”we are treating these very seriously, have taken on board your concerns and will be sitting under the shade of an oak tree with Boy George, a song sung in French.”
SC Poster: What were they called?
A&C: What!?
SC Poster: What were their names?
A&C: I don't know. ANWAY.. he gave a song sung in French.
ANOTHER SC Poster: You don't know?!
A&C: Well, it doesn't matter!
SC Poster: He doesn't know what they were called!
A&C: Oh, ok then, they were called 'Blue' and 'Yellow'. Now--
SC Poster: Oh! You said you didn't know!
A&C: It really doesn't matter. The point is there were --
SC Poster: oh! He's making it up as he goes along!

Today isn't the today either. Good to see some old faces linked with a move to us. Won't belong until the charlton Cole rumours start.

I think we've had a spate of SC suicides following yesterday's deep depression - its awfully quiet on here this morning...

interesting to see the title odds this morning...usual suspects and then .....
Scum 7/1
Liverpool 10/1
Spurs 50/1

its amazing what a few mediocre signings for liverpool do for the perceived success of a team. Spend loads of money does not guarantee success...but the media think otherwise

I think this snippet from the BBC transfer rumours page shows what we're up against in terms of offloading players...

Daily Mirror said:
Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish is keen to sign Spurs defender Alan Hutton, but must fund the move by selling defenders Habib Beye, Luke Young and Carlos Cuellar.

So before we can even sell our 'deadwood' we have to wait for Villa to sell such titanic players as Habib Beye? Gah!

If you look at any of their signings I doubt that any of them would be first choice in our team with exception of Suarez.
