Probably but some of those odds are just bizarre, and you would be mad to bet for.

Try adding four zeros to the 66 and it still wouldnt be value! ridiculous

How the hell are Sky allowed to run a betting company? Surely the fact that the "report" the "news" on such things as transfers and managerial sackings makes running a betting company on such issues a conflict of interests?

Only just occurred to me too, can't see why anyone would choose to bet with them over actual betting companies.

If Newcastle are ahead of us to sign Forlan, that actually means he has actually signed for them then which I cant find anywhere. Normally after a medical you announce the player, and he's had a medical with us

I didn't consider that, reading the threads on SC today has been a testing affair and left me with little remaining patience for WUMs and kneejerkers.

I'm hardly a WUM or a kneejerker. The ITK info that came in the other day said Forlan is having a medical with us. I then trust that this info was then indeed rubbish ?

A member was told by a player at the club who he knows quite well that Forlan was at our club, he passed the info on when he could have said nothing, and we have no knowledge if it was true or not but i will say i know the guy who passed it on and he has no need to spout rubbish.

Yes, dont shoot the messenger as it was passed onto here in good faith but unfortunately he was told some porkies.

I'd be surprised if Newcastle are ahead of us in the pecking order. They may want him more (he may only be an alternate option for us) but I'd imagine he would much rather move to us than them.

Apparently its all down to money and if you have 6 mill a year you can have him!

It would seem to me that whoever is pushing that story is unaware of the blatant obvious.....the Toon are slashing their budget, getting rid of the likes of Barton who is on half of what Forlan is getting now. They remember how Newcastle used to overspend to allure players to the region, but don't do so under Ashley.
