Yes yes plenty did not make it, but plenty more did. Ben Arfa, Radamel Falcao, Bojan, Gago, Pato, are just some off the top of my head, that I signed as relative to complete unknowns in the game 5 odd years ago ! The less said about Ibrahim Bakayoko in the late 90s version, the better however ........

Usually not double 00 agents these days though, more commonly 5 or 6 0's to represent the bare minimum they demand in fees during a transaction eg £600 000 for sitting in a room with club reps, acting like a knob for a couple of days......

From the descriptions of WILL.I.AN and Ferdinandinadinhoandinho, I certainly don't see how they could be a priority. Neither sound attack-minded enough to be a Modric replacement, and we already have pretty good options on the wings and at DM.

In an ideal world we could do with an alternative to Azza on the right I know. But we have great big gaping holes in the midfield attacking playmaker role, and those pesky fellas that are meant to concentrate on scoring goals. VDV could play the playmaker role IMO, but he dies after 60 minutes. And maybe Ade will sign, but even if he does then him and Jermain Offsideo really aren't enough. Defoe blows so hot and cold he may as well be the desert, and Ade appears to have morphed into a more deep lying player than a line-leading striker.

I'm starting to get worried now. We could sign a stack of quality players in other positions, but still finish no better than 6th if we don't get a proper centre-forward on the books, and a sparkle player in midfield.

Quickly on the subject of gaming, Pro Evo i signed Gomes and Giovani before they signed for us, Gio was amazing as was Gomes, and its rather weird but in the same team i had a young Moutinho who i hit some absolute screamers with, but then i did with Bobby Charlton too..
