I wish people would stop implying that Sessignon is some sort of unknown quantity like Alli was. People were raving about him for most of the season.

He's not the cheap rough gem to be polished, he's already well known amongst the top clubs. Hence it could be a struggle to convince him Spurs are his best option.

None of the other top clubs develop young players like we do, Man United, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal hahahahaha. Liverpool maybe/sort off but apparently he doesn't want to leave London.

If we can't convince him with young player developer Poch and Champions League football either he is an idiot or we have done a bad job.

In pure development terms is there a better top English club than us?

Or he has other motivations that we aren't satisfying. You know, a whole host of things we don't know about.

Oh and for all the "loosen the purse strings" people, aren't we renting a stadium as well as building another one, together with the knock on effect of every player demanding tons more money if we forked out £150k a week on a signing. What effect would that have on team/squad morale and our finances?

Ugh, stream of consciousness stuff, but you get my drift.

There's an idiot on here by the handle GB 160 who is making a point of rating all my posts as "funny". Without any explanation as to why he thinks they're funny. Perhaps we should notify the local village that we've found their missing idiot.
@Jcass3 in what way is that spam?

I am not going to trawl back through previous ITK but there was a few mentioning how hard it was to get information. We have had a discussion on the lack of activity and/or the lack of info so I pointed out this. If you disagree fine just click disagree. Spam is taking about something off topic totally like buying Guns and Rose tickets.

There is another thread about how spam ratings are now the spam on this forum, unless of course you accidentally clicked it in which case ignore this and no worries.
Before you ask why I spammed you, talking about ratings is spam. So enjoy those two ratings, sweet cheeks

No, not money, other motivations. Could be the need for friends at the club, a favourite coach, a coaching style, lots of things that people consider when moving job other than breaking it down to money, playing time and development.

Yeh true, but let's say you are a proven top player, I can understand the choice of Chelsea and Man City over us. When it comes to kids Poch is by a mile the best in the business, wasn't it 50% or something of all England debuts where by Poch trained players in the past few years.

If you want a career as a young player Poch is as good as you can get.

Luckily, I expected us to be shite in the window this year, and I believe Levy has planned for it. Comparison is the sworn enemy of happiness.

Yeah, cause Conte and Guardiola haven't developed any youth players...

We seemed to have had the same wage and transfer budgets for the last ten years but the rest of the footballing world have moved way, way past us.

According to recent figures we have the 11th highest wage bill in Europe. Unfortunately five of those clubs above us are in the Premier League. Other than that it's just Barca, Real, Bayern, Juventus and PSG.

Chaps, you all need to have a cup of tea and/or a wank to calm down.

Don't offer to make anyone a tea and then have a wank as we all know you don't wash your hands and that's a level we just dont want to go to.

Breathe. 26 June lads.

Guardiola oversaw development of Messi, Pique, Busquets, Pedro and Bojan.

Conte developed Pogba (as a single example)

Yeh fair enough but Barca had something special coming through, City and Chelsea already look like they are buying big so I doubt youth is the way for them.

You work with what you have, if you have billions why develop anyone if you can get ready made.
