Some people are taking this transfer window/ITK lark way to seriously.

Look, in years gone by we've spent big and bought sexy, and all we had to show for it was a couple or so 5th place finishes and the odd flirtation with the champions league.

Compare that with the way we've spent, sold and (gasp!) recruited over the last year or two.
Unspectacular in terms of a spectator sport in a thread like this, ill grant you. But, on the field of play (where it counts, by the way), well, you've seen the results for yourselves.

I know which of the two strategies I'm preferring at present. And it ain't the former.
We spent big but didnt buy sexy imo. Hardly any of the players we bought with the Bale money were really sought after and special.

There's an idiot on here by the handle GB 160 who is making a point of rating all my posts as "funny". Without any explanation as to why he thinks they're funny. Perhaps we should notify the local village that we've found their missing idiot.
Never knew Dril was a Spurs fan

I wouldn't be too worried just yet.
Best advice all window. Unless Poch starts saying he's worried, we don't need to be

Cheers @Trix

I think this thread needed the reassurance
The thread didn't. Trix supplied the cooling rush of fresh water that washes all the sand away.

Don't worry though, it won't be long before the gymnastics club starts pulling multiple splits in the sandbox again.

Im not saying all big signings were sexy signings.

VdV, Eriksen, Soldado (at the time), Lamela, Adebayor (at the time) were all sexy signings and had the viewers of this thread jizzing.

Surprised we are not hearing more ITK about exits - save Walker, I can't remember seeing anything concrete on exits.

Not massively worried about missing out on Sessegnon - gets KWP one step closer to the first team.

Given our recent signings it is clear it takes time to get used to Poch's system, and some just don't make the cut. With that in mind, I can see Poch going with the young players to step up for first XI spots in the future, and unknown foreigners brought in to fatten the squad and sold when they don't cut it. If KWP, CCV and Onomah can make more of an impression, Winks comes back and Edwards (along with Lamela) add to the attacking numbers, I'm not sure if Poch will want too much else

Sorry, the "some people in" was written in invisible ink...
