Not claiming to be itk or anything and believe me if you want or dont whatever it makes no difference to me but I guarantee this as its straight from the horses mouth ( redknapp ) we had Rossi all sewn up in jan for 20m everything was agreed with club and player until levy at the last minute changed the deal and said we were only willing to pay 15m, obviously villareal were not to pleased and basically told him to naff off and rightly so imo, then when we got desperate at the end of the window and went back in they were so pissed off about levy changing the deal at the last minute after everything was agreed they didn't want to know.

Story is correct but the numbers quoted are wrong.....

Why are we pursuing Mata .... he doesn't want to come and he'll cost the best part of £20m, were as N'Zogbia has prem experience, is seriously under-rated, can play on the left or right wing and as an emergency left back .... and more importantly would probs come to us .... and cost a mere £10m.

Because we're trying to make it difficult for the scum and push up the price so they have less of the possible Fibreglass money to spend on one of our other targets :shrug:

adebayor deal higly unlikely,to fit in with our wage structure city would still have to contribute 100k a wk towards his wages ,loan deal currently dont work
