Signing Zaha and Martial would be a massive statement.

Chelsea’s front 3 of Zaha - Martial - Hazard will be terrifying

Thanks for the heads up.
Would hope our position in the CL etc would give us an edge over Chelsea, for Zaha.

This has seldom ended well for us.
Sure but things have changed, our wages have increased and we're in CL which means a lot. Plus there's too much undertainty around Chelsea who change managers so often. It usually end the other way because Chelsea agree a fee but we dont which isn't the case here.

Surely he will choose us over Chelsea
Depends what he is motivated by I guess.

We offer a much more stable option, new stadium, Champions League, world class training facilities, decent bonus incentives.

All Chelsea offer over us would be higher basic wage really.

Would have to imagine Chelsea will offer higher wages, but Spurs offer Champions League. Which will he choose?

I wonder if Levy making the offensive wage offer to Zaha (or offensive transfer fee offer to CP - can't remember which) a few years ago when first trying to acquire him will come into play here too.

If he chooses Chelsea over us then I wouldn’t want him anyway bc it would prove he’s only motivated by money and he’d probs leave us the first chance he gets

Take your spurs tinted glasses off for a second.

They consistently win trophies too.

Goat on Zaha

"Tug of war between us and Chelsea. Both agreed with Palace and up to the player."

Lets hope it's a repeat of last time we went head to head with Chelsea over a transfer :)

Would be delighted if we could get him, cheers for the info.

Didn't we have ITK that said only the Manchester clubs offer bigger wages now so maybe we match his wage demands.

If we’ve actually gone ahead and had our offer accepted, I’m shocked...also, we know Chelsea will offer more wages than us if it comes down to it ..

Fingers crossed

Be nice if we can nail this! Hopefully stability with Poch over uncertainty with the Chav's. Imagine he wouldn't have to move from Kingswood if he stays with Chavski though as Cobham is only 30 mins away.

If it's between us and Chelsea, then surely it would be wages that would make the difference? At neither club would he be guaranteed a start, as things stand. We have CL, they have more recent trophies.

Hopefully the Poch charisma will do the job.

This has seldom ended well for us.
Just remind him of his time at united, Barkley's time at Chelsea and there is only one choice left for him. If he chases the £ at Chelsea over his development at Spurs - then good riddance- he's not the player for us.
