Honestly you can list the amount of players we went in for who chose the higher wages and didn't kick on, I feel we are the perfect fit and our future looks rosier with our new stadium adding the finishes touches whilst Roman drops their plans entirely. We have stability in our management team, we have a core of players who he'd fit in with seamlessly and we have thursday nights off work.
Whatever happened to the drinkwater geezer too.. Chavs will soon be known as the club where good young players go to die?

Thursday- "Zahas average and overpriced".
Friday - Chelsea have put a bid in...."We've got to get him. Sign him whatever it costs!"

Chelsea seem to have been looking to replace Willian with a younger player so maybe that is the carrot they can offer Zaha as well as possibly more money.
Zaha, Martial, Dembele ... any of those will do for me so we just have to wait and see. Nice to have some positive ITK today

Despite everything that's happened in the past I feel quite confident that Zaha will chose us over Chelsea. Pochettino, CL and the new stadium are huge pull factors in my opinion.

Surely fact he will be playing with Kane and co may have factor too!

Hopefully he’ll realise they will be nomads for 2 seasons also. Straws and clutching etc! Personally he’s a player I’ve always wanted at Spurs.

Mind you just because 2 clubs have agreed fees, that doesn’t stop others coming in also.

We have ITK that he wants to stay in London, and there's only one other club in London I can see him being attracted to.

I'd doubt he'd choose Fulham over Us/Chelsea though.

One thing Chelsea have over us at the moment, perception, they are perceived as trophy winners and we are not so we need to convince him that we are on the cusp of a change which is harder than convincing him nothing's changed.
Sorry but that's quite a big one, let's hope it's not big enough.

Strange thing with Wilf is that United will be due a fair chunk of any transfer, so in a weird way... it might get a bit faffy in terms of any other potential deals, perhaps with any Zaha move actually getting intricate with any other transfers.

re incomings we can't or won't make any non home grown as we have 18 I believe and can only register 16.

And we’ve only just come to this conclusion with 2 weeks left after chasing Martial all window?

Cool
Maybe a lack of activity on the outgoing side has brought us to focusing on home grown players only, now. It’s a bit of a risk (with as little time remaining, as there is) signing a non-hg player if we potentially can’t register them or another in the squad.
