I agree.....the pic is prob not a footballer atall but one thing to remember is that JJ (the ITK that we all seem to trust) did say

Who: JJetset
When: 28th July
We have Been trying all week, 1 is close. Worth the wait on the others if they come off.

then he posted after saying

Ha ha 'expect'?! You been drinking again?! 1 is close (toes crossed )but both ? You don't know what DL has been doing this week!

Whos to say that this mystery man is not something to do with what DL has been doing all week?!?!

Agent of a Striker we have been chasing?

who knows, but............. In Levi I trust!!! (y)

Why you trusting ur jeans??

I'm not sure if its been talked about but it looks like Ezekiel Fryers is a Spurs player. He's with the development squad in Portugal.

I'm guessing it wont be officially announced until the tribunal case is done with.

That guy looks like an agent not a player.

Was going to say this too. Looks like a shady agent type. If anyone is really bored, they could look up photos of transfer targets' agents and compare to this guy.

For fuck sake we aren't going to get a conclusive answer so it's really pointless guessing.

It's not pointless at all, it's probably stopped a few people from slitting their wrists. That's life saving ITK!

If 'not signing a player for a football team one month before the end of the window for signing players' is going to cause someone to kill themselves then it would only be a matter of time before something else tips them over the edge, possibly drizzle, or running low on milk.

It's a man, it looks like a man, it is a man, just a man in a hotel, a blurry picture of a man in a hotel. Everything else is in people's imagination. He looks like an agent? What the fuck does an agent look like exactly? A suit, that's it, well done everyone, case cracked. I hope to god that most of you are under the age of 16, because otherwise this thread is an embarrassment.

Y'all pissing me the hell off.

He can't be an agent. Agents are required by law to wear big badges with their club logo and "AGENT" on them, that's how people spot them at Airports and the like.

I reckon your cage is a bit worse for wear after reading the last couple of pages?

For what it's worth there was a good article about player investment (Adebayor's deal was mentioned) and the transfer market that I have just posted as a separate thread in TR. Here's a link:

http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/index.php?threads/no-country-for-old-men.88898/

Think Levy can be said to be a 'early adopter; with his once ridiculed (even by some on this board) requirement for a 'resale value' on most deals - another way of saying but young.

Of course, as the article points out, there are bargains to be had at the older end of the scale - but high wages demanded by the player can sometimes scupper the economics.

I am a bit worried that all the rumours are coming from Zagreb - Modric's associates has every reason to claim a done deal at an apparantly acceptable (to Spurs) price and with Dynamo Zagreb also getting £2.5m they are also prominent.

None of Spurs ITK or mainstream media are yet owning the story (now some 4-5 hours after the first tweets and Croatian website article) which makes me suspect that the deal is not quite as far advanced as it needs to be to call it 'done'.

Hopefully its not far off and we will get more UK sources (not fansites repeating the Croatian side) confirming the deal at £35m or so on Monday/Tuesaday (the OS would be even better !).

Lots of personal rubbish being tweeted about Ade &the current situation.Only a few actually know the details so stop assuming &judging him!

Sounds positive... I suppose. Not news as such, but surely have to assume that this, along with JJ's other tweets recently, are suggesting that Ade WILL get done. And it shouldn't be too much longer.
