True Gomez is quality but everything I am reading about Barrios is positive in fact it might be too positive, sadly he looks beyond our reach:(

 I thought you had one of these stupid wireless jobbies like me.

Make or break then move on, can only be for the best, a decision either way soon enough

Nah not me, technology passes me by, Can just about deal with a laptop these days.

If Rossi is now unavailable that makes Vucinic to Juve more likely and us left with egg on our faces.

Federico Pastorello, having already announced that Sportitalia in the deal for Juventus Giuseppe Rossi is set, spoke by phone with Sky League. Officially off the market, Pepito remain at Villarreal. The player's agent followed by Juventus in recent weeks said: "Giuseppe Rossi has been permanently removed from the market by Fernando Roig Senior. Decision taken after the sale of Cazorla, rather than the amount for payment: a 'offering that has a little shocked everyone, because 19 million was paid in a lump sum cash. so the club's financial problems have been solved completely. it is so ambitious sporting project of the family that initially Roig included the departure of a single pawn luxury of the Exchequer. Giuseppe was considered the most important piece, despite the direct intervention of the player who had made it known that the destination (Juventus ed) was very pleasing. But there was no chance. "
How do you feel now Rossi says: "For him to be taken off the market was still a liberation. Giuseppe is a simple guy who thinks mainly play football and score many goals.'s Not used to talk of negotiations, tensions and worries . he wanted to come, however, the position taken by its Chairman has taken a worry that had taken away even sleep. in any case it is more peaceful now. "
For Nilmar, followed by Rome as a substitute Vucinic, the discourse is different: "Unlike Rossi, for Nilmar offers are valid but must come quickly. As for Rossi to Villarreal had not prepared a substitute for Nilmar is already rather ready solution to replace the player. "

So if we're struggling to get anyone to take a sniff around our unwanted crap, how come Le Arse are about to flog Bentdner for £9m (allegedly)...

I dont remember arsenal announcing to the world that they need to sell before they can buy. Any team with common sense will now wait until the last week of august for a "bargain" when we are supposedly desperate.

British players don't go abroad. Bendtner's Danish.

So of Hutton, Bentley, Gio, Keane, Defoe, Crouch guess who's by far the easiest to shift and get bids for?

you got it.

I'd say Gomez is a good bit in front of him

Well to be completely honest its a rather arbitrary statement.

Not all strikers are the same and comparing them is just an attempt to order that which is not orderable.

We have a #9 CF, a false #9 (creative dropping), a false #10 (creative from wide), a second or linking, an off the last defender, a channel runner, a poacher

Do any of you even have an idea of what type he is? I think he's a CF

I can tell you the best false 9 is Keissling.

The best CF is Novokovic

The best off the last defender is Gomez

the best false 10, not sure Shinji maybe

The best channel runner might be Olic

the best linking was Dzeko.

The best poacher is Gekas or Raul

And my list is only opinion. Others would think differently. And may define Keissling differently than I would. So I wouldn't label him. He's pretty darn good. That's a start. How does he fit our system is then the real question.

Rebrab, have you heard anything about the young striker at West Brom? You seem very clued up regarding the youth players

Saida Berahino

West Brom! Fucking hell.

That Ashworth is unbelievable. Unbelievable.

His scouting network and eye for talent is second to none. Levy must be jealous as fuck. If we had Ashworth as Sporting Director we'd be able not only to have the most exciting youngsters in the world but have enough of them to be league champions and sell off the rest to pay for our stadium.

Bloody Ashworth. How does he do it?
