Seriously? He's the owner of Spurs Odyssey. I don't even know if he has a job. He just seems to write essay level game reports.

Definitely old school ITK. Probably 2 years since he's posted any. But he would have been in that Ben level category back in the naugts.

Lol at this, as though the random owner of a Spurs forum is famous in some way and should be known by people.

Us and every other club in FIFA. We, and every other club out there, doubtless sound out things in that vast grey area of unofficial chats with chains of agents. None of it 'officially' sanctioned by the buying club, but just like Rebecca Brooks didn't officially sanction any phone tapping (chortle), somehow word of what a player might want and what a club might pay finds its way mysteriously to the right people. Plausible deniability.

The whole of football's at it, and we're not better/worse than the rest.
I still don't think it adds up. Even if we had agreed terms with the player/agent, how can we be so certain we will agree a fee with the club? And if we are, why has this dragged on for so long without us even making a bid? Why do we have to wait for the squad to come back from the US before finalizing the deal? I hope I'm wrong, but I can't see this happening in the imminent future. Last, but not least, we can be as confident as we want with regards to wages and fee. We still can't be sure other clubs aren't lurking around. Both Arsenal and Utd are in the market for a striker, and their main deals can collapse.

Maybe we've enquired about him and they quoted us a price? Now we are just waiting to offload a couple from the wage bill before making a bid. We have no idea how this is going. Hence the reliance on itk. Which you should always take with a pinch of salt anyway.

Talksport had a brummie jurno on this evening and he said there has been zero contact, not even an enquiry to availability between us and WBA, he also said SB was still with his agent until October
I also read a news report that said the deal with Aidy Ward ends in October, however Berahino is on the homepage of impact-sports.com - his old (and new) agency.

You're making a good case here. But I still find it wierd that he would play 90 minutes for them yesterday if they know he'll be gone.
