Good morning and normal service is resumed. Yesterday we had the news that Gareth Bale has signed a new deal to be the face of PG Tips. ITK assures us it's the (PG) tip of the iceberg and that there's more to come. A LOT more. The word meltdown was used. And instantly regretted.

New Management team are involved with In's and outs already. To confirm JJ,KB,CA have all departed.

Summer of Activity at the Lane, rest assured. Plenty of transfer activity.

JJ = Joe Jordan, KB = Kevin Bond and CA = Clive Allen

The Akqayid said 'meltdown'.......FFS. Anyway, he explained it because half of you took it to literally mean whatever you felt justified the term. Right up to we're signing Messi................Sheesh.

So that I can clear everything up an clear my inbox out, thought it good to just say it all.

- Expect to have AvB paraded before the world in the next 48 hours (I'm hearing as soon as tomorrow)

- I'm finding out about investor/partner this evening. Ill see if the Qatuar links are correct. Or Kuwaits or even just a lottery winner fancing a punt (the last bit is a joke)

- Trying to find out about Leandro sighting - think its a very tenuous link about airports!!

Other stuff
There are rumblings that Bentley has offers Fulham one, two in Spain and two in US. Jenas maybe back to villa, but other options for him, Southampton is one, possible French loan.
JD - don't think is going anywhere.

I'm just outlining this as in all possibility come 2nd July it's a whole new world.

Vertonghen, Sigurdsson looking likely. Vertonghen replacing King, Sigurdsson replacing Kranjcar. Corluka leaving, so maybe Naughton will replace him. Caulker to come back to replace Bassong/Bonghani/Gallas in squad/pecking order.

Villas (as in aston villas) Boas (as in Bow-ass)?
Villash Bow-ash?
Vee-ash Bow-ash?

I think it would be more like Viyash Bo Ash. But Brazil will be the final word on this.

Probably Vee-ash Bow-ash because I think it makes me sound more cultured/pretentious and will allow me to correct all my friends who will probably pronounce it incorrectly. Also, I don't even know if this is right.

Goodmorning everyone! I would just like to stress that I ain't stupid and know that the talk of a meltown coming very soon and then all of a sudden the site going "off-air" was not coincidental. A&C owes me a new F5 key as it just stopped working after continually pressing it for 200 times till the site came back, and also I would like to warn you all that if you play such a joke on me again I will hunt all the mods and Akqayid down one by one, and put you all 6 feet under!!

some great announcements ahead hopefully (havent we been here before?), New manager shown to the world then the players as it should be....Like Moutinho was good against the Spanish last night, but would be very expensive i would believe. Sahin would be more realistic in my opinion, well to agree a fee with the club, but i think the player would rather stay at madrid or head back to germany.
