Unless he wants to force a move, is it down to the club. Sounds as tho Poch is not worried about him going ! If that really is the case then let him go

Seems either your mate is winding you up, or Walker is having laugh telling different things to different people he's met. This is the 3rd or 4th story of people meeting Walker on holiday and every single one of them has contrasting stories

or he's been at the old laughing gas again? :D.

To be fair if some bloke came up to me with a sunburnt face, wearing his England shirt , fag in mouth and pint in hand, asking me why I'm leaving spurs I'd probably tell him I wasn't even if I was

That's what I've been saying. Add to that when they are sticking the smart phone camera deep into his face. Quickly it becomes tempting to say something like "Mate, I don't want to leave" (implied, if I do leave, I didn't want to leave the club you love, but somebody didn't make it easy for me to stay).

Segessnon is a shame but

a) good for him. Good move for his career development
b) its not like we have lost to a rival
c) he would not have walked into the first team

Hopefully we will be in the mix when he decides to move on in a year or so. Although the price might be a lot higher

Him not signing is not going to have much effect on the coming season

If anyone's feeling in anyway down, just go over and have a look at KUMB forum. And you'll realise just how lucky we are.

Nothing to see over there other than scrap metal prices or selling tea towels, pegs and lucky Heather.

I might be a bit too optimistic for the transfer market. But I think we'll do fine.

Our current squad is strong and while a big money name would be nice. I'd rather see us build on what we have with some decent squad fillers. Some guys that can come off the bench to add to a match. Or start when we need to rotate out some of the regulars. And we can still get signings like that despite the doom and gloom going about.

Maybe 3 new signings and a couple of the academy boys getting more play time methinks.

Did he meet Gazza then?

Nothing earth shattering but ITK all the same.

my mate has just met Kyle Walker out in Portugal playing golf. he told him he is going to either Man City or Barcelona.

Edit: But apparently its down to the club now.

If Toby signs an extension as @rebrab seems to have suggested and Kyle goes to Barca NOT Citeh, it will be a quality start to the summer

I know it's an impossible dream, but I wish once we would get some of our business done in time for pre season. I wish transfer deadline was on the fist day of the season.

Because he’s replaceable and we aren’t strengthening a rival
This. Love Kyle. Wish he was staying. Obvious he is not staying. Therefore a massive positive if he goes to Barca not Citeh. Thought that would be clear in my original post but obviously not.

Yep. I agree.

I'll refrain from losing my shit until the 1st Sept.

I'm confident we'll keep our highly sought after players but we HAVE to add quality to our match day squad. A couple of players to compete and challenge. Mad transfer market or not, there is no excuse.

Looks like we're getting good at making players that originally want to come to us to change their minds and sign new contracts with their existing clubs :cautious:

We must be offering relative peanuts for two decent young players to choose to stay at Fulham and Everton :meh:
