Monday. And so it begins. The rumours will now go into overdrive as evidenced by last night's late whisperings that the Parker deal is off.

Oh and its going to be mayhem so lets keep this thread on topic for the last few days and remember no posting media links, twitter or spam becuase its that late on now, anyone losing their access might not get it back in time for Wanky Wednesday!

First up today is Kaka. Literally.

Kaka. We've ask if we can borrow him for 1 or 2 seasons in order to bring him back to himself of old.

Our second piece of ITK concerned Parker

Sounds like he's off to Wigan for a fee
And that's all the ITK from yesterday.

This Forum closes at the end of the week and boy how i'm looking forward to it. What will you all do with yourselves?

Here's an idea! Donate and stay around!

A certain ITK would like to see you make a donation to help keep Spurs Community running. He said.....

Red and yellow and pink and green
Purple and orange and blue
I can sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow too.

A CERTAIN ITK SAYS HAVE YOU DONATED YET? WELL HAVE YOU?
EVERY LITTLE HELPS!

The Parker deal off? Where was that, and who said it? Also I'd be very surprised to see Gio go on a free!!

Free? Wipe the sleep from your eyes and read it again

Then take a look at the last few pages of yesterdays thread for the Parkers stuff.

Finally, before this thread goes off, chat about both to the relevant players threads please.

Gio "for a fee".

POTL says Parker "completed". That's pretty unambiguous, isn't it. Unless ITKs use a different dictionary to the rest of us.

As for Gio, I can only assume that RM has been told we've accepted an offer from Wigan. IMO there's no chance Gio would agree terms with them. He wants Spain, and he knows he can get Spain.

I think something will happen in the next few days... Now that the completely obvious comment is out of the way, let's get some bloody players in and get this season underway!

So parker done but suggestions from redknapp we're still in for Diarra. Man city did well with two holding CMs yesterday but they also had attacking mids that seem comfortable on the ball. Anyhoo, still lots of outgoings needed and ideally a minimum of a cf and cb coming in.

It doesn't look good at the moment. Let's hope for some positive ITK.

Remember, look on the slightly brighter side, wouldn't you 8-2 be an Arsenal fan...

I just saw the "8-2 be" tweet on ESPN soccernet. As for the ITK it sounds as if Parker is ours. I would like to see GDS in the PL just so he can prove some of the doubters that he can compete.

If its true about what JJset said last night about 8 of our players being requested by other teams but we'll likely only get rid of about 3 because we're still asking for a top price, well I just find that mindblowing tbh. Is it any wonder we're in this mess, basically we could have had a nice clear out but for some reason think other clubs are going to pay what we did for these players, unbelieveable.

I hope we get Leandro soon because clearly Blue hasn't convinced Modric about our ambition yet.

Archibald still seems to think we'll get 5-6 out the door (some on loans).

By the way is it only the European deadline on Wednesday? If it is we might be able to sell some players to Celtic/Rangers next week as Scotland aren't in Europe any more.

I take it the fa offices are closed today so we won't have any announcements? Need a lift after the weekend.

We need to spend and spend now

Since last Summer, City have spent over £200m, Chelsea have spent over £150m, Liverpool have spent nearly £130m, Man U over £60m even goons have spent £35m, whilst we have spent £14.5m.

No point making £40m out of CL if we're going to let our rivals get out of sight, now I'm not expecting us to go into the red to buy players but I'd like us to reinvest what we make.

Come on Levy splash the CL cash

Financial Fair Play rules, you have to live within the means of your income, Chairman can not dip into their pockets for players, that's why City have devised a £400 million stadium sponsorship to circumvent the rules.

With the FFP rules coming into play next year you would think now is the time to buy big, if we're capable of doing it.

That, alongside the fact that we're absolutely crying out for improving throughout the team, suggests we need to buy, and buy NOW! Please let us do it. Please please please!

Has anyone read my post? we won't be buying big unless we sell, and we won't sell because our players are to dear. I suggest you all read back on last nights thread, its quite interesting and makes a lot of sense.

The wheels really are coming off. Can't believe how much we've ballsed up yet another window. No sales, no decent impending incomings :bang:.

At least we've got Adebayor in; but otherwise such a missed opportunity to put ourselves into the new big 4.

Well I guess at least Parker is the right player to help us try and battle out of the relegation zone. All we deserve when we act so small time .

 Sorry Hottie missed that.

That doesn't sound like DL at all does it?

These prices will go down for sure, but unfortunately there is a break even point to selling these guys as they get a bonus payment if its our decision to sell. Hence we could end up paying them to leave.......

Thinking the prices will start to drop this week to get the ball rolling.......as potentially our incoming players prices will too.

Be calm Dan we've lost to the top two, that leaves two more slots for the top four and Chelsea without Modric are fallible plus I'm not fooled by Liverpool either so all we can say is that we've missed a chance to win the Premiership which, lets face it, wasn't likely anyway was it.
