Doesn't make much sense for it to be Chelsea. Reportedly agreed a deal for Giroud in the past few hours, and Batshuayi has been heavily linked with Dortmund as an Auba replacement.

So, summer transfer deadline day. We had rumours of Moura and rumours of Gomes, yet neither happened. Then out of nowhere we got Llorente, despite many people believing that it wasn't a player we really needed because we needed pace and some brains from midfield. Now Llorente is off and we are possible getting Moura and Gomes' name keeps popping up. Righting some wrongs here??

We aren’t helping out Chelsea by selling them Llorente. He isn’t very good. It only strengthens us if we get a replacement.
I agree that he's not very good. Just don't like the thought of selling Chelsea a player they want, especially if they were after him in the summer.

Can only hope we do have a replacement lined up if so

@Hercules has stated that there are 2 being worked on, Moura being one...and the other dependent on the selling club finding a replacement. Is it possible that this player is a striker and Llorente leaving is because we've secured the 2nd guy?

If we all agree that Llorente just isn't good enough why would that be strengthening Chelsea just because they want him? Let them make the same mistake

I won't be surprised if Lamela is loaned out with a view to permanent signing. IMO, it makes more sense with Moura coming in. In case, we also sign Malcom(now or summer), we need to get rid a current RW. Looks like Sissoko is going nowhere.

Llorente IMO doesnt make sense to leave in Jan even when he done nothing till now.

I'm not Llorente's biggest fan (nor am I his biggest critic) but if he's off and we don't have a replacement lined up that's shocking
Nah not really. Son will play there and Moura is in to make up anything lost on the flanks as a result. Would be nice to get someone in though.

I would be really surprised if we got rid of Llorente. Poch keeps emphasising that his signing is more than what he does on the pitch. And upsetting the squad dynamic part way through the season would be pretty silly.

Only way I can see it is if he has personally asked to leave due to a big offer from China or something similar

Would be annoyed if we loaned or sold Lamela this window. Kind of defeats the point of bringing Moura in. We need more strength on the bench, injuries are inevitable.

Arsenal try and push Giroud to Chelsea so the Auboomerang deal can go through. Levy phones Chelsea up, and offers them a great price on Llorente as an alternative on the condition they sell Batshuayi to us. We've upgraded our backup striker, Dortmund lose their replacement at the last minute and refuse to sell, and Levy has completely screwed over the Arse.

Watford have just signed Deulofeu on loan. Could be Richardson replacement which could link which Hercules stuff about a replacement for selling club. Think Trix said he was on a radar a while back as well

We sign Batshuayi and give Chelsea Llorente last minute, all the while they've continued to "negotiate" for Giroud and then pull out of that deal at 11pm so that Dortmund can't get either Batman or Giroud, meaning scum miss out on Aubameyang.

Come on Daniel you beautiful bald bastard, do it.

Didn't that info also state that everyone would be much happier if the alternative target could be acquired, which led to people suggesting it perhaps wasn't Richarlison?
