I don't think Spurs fit the way Llorente plays and vice versa but I would be sad to see him go. He just looked so good in that kit! Hopefully not to a rival unless it was simply too great an offer to refuse. I guess we'll all need to hold onto our butts for the next couple of days.

We aren’t helping out Chelsea by selling them Llorente. He isn’t very good. It only strengthens us if we get a replacement.

Do transfers ever get announced this late in the day other than on deadline day? Surely the marketing/social media team have all gone home anyway, and there's no reason to schedule it so late.

Re: Llorente, if it is to Chelsea I can only assume it's either insane money, or we're getting Batshuayi in exchange. I agree though that Italy or Spain is more likely, but I'd hope we'd be bringing someone in at least.

Not out of the realms of possibility. Chelsea want rid, and we get a player with a point to prove and at a much younger age. Works for me
