So IF Llorente leaves and we bring in a replacement, would that be Herc’s number 2 target or would we be after 3 in total now? This window is turning into a classic... who would have thought a Jan window could have been so mental.

Agreed... but the prospect of a genuinely ludicrous finish where we play ring-a-roses or musical chairs with half the clubs in Europe to see who ends up with what striker when the music stops is a tantalising one.

Previously worked with Conte, and Morata for that too, so could be seen as a mentor to help him adjust.
Realistically, can't see us helping Chelsea though, unless we know we are strengthening ourselves even more. Batshuayi, would make sense on paper, but just do not see it happening.
Don't think it'll be an out and out striker to replace Llorente if he does go, more likely someone who can play wide or up top like Son, get maximum use rather than a just a permanent bench based Kane standby.
ITK sounds like we are being very proactive though, making considered changes with the bigger picture in mind. COYS.

Herc said in the Llorente thread that we had a back up line up.

It's Levy time.*

*Whether you consider that a good thing or a bad thing is subjective but you can't deny it.

Nah, that doesn't start until the final whistle against Man United after which he makes an on-the-spot offer of a blade of grass from the White Hart Lane pitch, Gazzaniga on loan for six weeks and 4 loyalty points for Marcus Rashford.

Well if the bleat means Llorente going so be it. He has done nothing and only blocks a squad place. We are better off using the attacking players we have who all score more goals than any number two striker we have had in years

We have not signed anyone yet and let 2 players go on loan

At the start I figured this would be the dullest of transfer windows but now it is shaping up to finish in style. No matter what happens it will be a fun two days. I hope there is some unveiling at Wembley on Wednesday
