Morning ITK fans
Finally all the waiting came to an end yesterday when we actually made a signing. Bit of a pricktease though as we've now celebrated signing Holtby twice and there are still hopes that we'll sign someone else. Personally i'm not holding my breath.

We've had ITK that AVB still hopes for Willian, I can't see it myself, he hoped for Moutinho too but look how that one panned out. I reckon we'll see more in the way of departures between now and the deadline, which will probably fuel specualtion that we're signing someone as wages are being freed up. So i'm not setting my sights too high.

Every once in a while, I make sure the wife thinks I'm still an old romantic at heart.

I scatter the ironing board with rose petals.

My wife said, "A little birdy told me what to expect off you for my birthday this year."

I had a vision of a sparrow landing on her shoulder and whispering, "Fuck all" in her ear.

She's got dyslexia but still got all angry when she'd tried texting me a crap joke and I replied with, "Bdum Tish."
She said, "Don't call me a dumb shit!"............She's been getting lazy recently so I sent her a text yesterday: "When I get home I expect my supper women!"

I returned home to find the silly bint wearing a red and blue cape.

I would be bowled over and utterly shocked if we spent 20m+ on a player this month, cannot see it happening- much lesser figure yes. We just will not do it which is my opinion. Only three full days left and we dill find out if our pursuits have proved successful. We want a loan and that at present seems dead, with view to. Permanent transfer. This player in question is not a striker, and it is still a point of active pursuits but it is about 'take now and pay later' which is a challenge

I dont think we will sign a striker until we know on wednesday if Togo qualify for the next round as they may mean Adebayor will be back for Saturday if he leaves on Thursday morning

Also Dempsey was brought in to cover the other two and his thinking maybe that come wednesday we may be back to two strikers

The Daily Record reports that Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to hijack Norwich City's attempts to sign Celtic striker Gary Hooper.

I don't remember the last cheap and unknown striker to become awesome. Too much exposure of the game worldwide for teams to be unaware of players and lots of agents making everyone aware of talent, clubs value their players much better now.

Icardi of Sampdoria had a blindin' weekend, 400k euro from Barcelona to Sampdoria after a loan. Barca just couldn't find a spot for him.

It can still happen.

but if we signed someone for 1million as a starter, i think the amount of abuse Levy would get (and the player ) on here would be mental! as well as some fans having nervous breakdowns due to it.
