From the same guy that also told me the swap deal with Clinton and nKoudou was off he has contacts at the club

Reading the offcial line coming out of the club (the tweets but we all know they aren't good for in here) I'd suggest that the Telegraph are over doing how bad things are. They have also (the tweets) been put up on the skysports section of the transfer centre about 10 minutes ago. Let's all try and keep this in perspective before we all go jumping to conclusions.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...recruitment-leaves-club-days-before-start-of/
A falling out with Levy has Mitchell running for the Exit...
Why doesn't this surprise me??
Who??Matt Law, is it you?
Club statement:Where's this Mitchell stuff coming from?
What's the background story to this...grrClub statement:
The Club can confirm that Paul Mitchell, Head of Recruitment, will be leaving the Club at a future date to be mutually agreed.
What's the background story to this...grr
Disgusted at the lack of ambition in the transfer market? That'd be something I could relate to...
JJ rating this Winner tells me it was Pleat responsible for identifying DeleNothing to do with Mitchell.
You can thank Pleaty for that 1
I'm sure there is more than one true version of that story, as any other. Maybe Dele was on the radar of both for all we know? Not that it really matters, I suppose.JJ rating this Winner tells me it was Pleat responsible for identifying Dele

Old head - Hugo, Toby, Jan, Dembele?I think with the latest news about our recruitment department jumping ship is a reflection on how hard levy seems to be to deal with and not just for other clubs but also inside our own club. I think if we go into the first half of the season as we are then we will struggle for top six or seven. With the rest of the club's round us or above us doing good business except the boomers I think we will struggle as while we have addressed two of the gaping holes in our squad I don't feel we got the wise head we need to calm things down and lift things when needed and a player that can open up defences when we are struggling for creativity. I think the football people inside the club can see what is needed to give a good account of ourselves in the champions league and maintain a challenge in the premier league but the business people who run the club aren't prepared to take the next step hence the reason for the departures. Was so looking forward to a new dawn at the club but as we are about to kick off something has to kick you in the nuts. The joys of supporting this wonderful club. COYS
