Because all agents think that as soon as "heads of terms" are agreed a deal is done. Same in any field where you work with intermediaries.
That will then get passed on, and people will go "hooray deal done" when that is far from the truth.

Not a million miles from reality last year: when Stoke signed Shaquiri they ran out of Qs and had to buy them in from other clubs. Rumour has it Levy is stockpiling Xs to piss off arsenal.

Our Squad number is starting to get back under control again with Pritchard, Fazio and Ward out this week.
Hopefully Yedlin back to Sunderland will be next, and the rest of Carroll, Chadli and Bentaleb will follow this month.
