Someone fetch the defib for Grealish. The Clubs are still someway apart but we are talking again.

I think this is great news. There’s will on the part of the player (or so it sounds) and Poch so surely this will get over the line given the lack of movement elsewhere.

Grealish and Martial would be a good window IMO

Grealish still on, and still the chance united get desperate for a CB and do the swap for martial. Add a CM and the transfer window will be a success IMO

Poch must want him bad

Or he wanted Zaha badly, so we stalled Grealish, Levy wouldn't match Palaces' valuation of Zaha, so we now have to open up talks again with Villa. probably spending more than we would initially on a back up target...

I for one, think Grealish would be a good squad player. I don't think he was Pochs plan A though.

Looks like leaking that we like Lewis Cook worked then if they’ve come back!

This one won’t be over until the window is shut, one way or another.

Surely we can get one signing over the line with Grealish..... I'd still be furious then but atleast it's something!.... As Ron said Grealish and Martial would be a good window no guessing to be done those two = happy days!! Have Toby on his way along with Janssen 2 in 2 out jobs a good un. Fans would be happy ( well I think ? )...... Positive vibes going into the new stadium. Imagine not getting deals over the line first game at the new stadium with Levy Out banners....it would be a bit of a PR disaster.

Cheers guys, info is appreciated as always! :)

Grealish in as our only signing wouldn't fill me with joy even though i like him as a player.. just want us to take that big step and get an established talent in.

That said, i do like Grealish and hope we do get that over the line... fingers crossed for a last minute Levy blinder on top and all of a sudden this is a good window

Glad we're back in for Grealish, but never seems to end well when we go head-to-head for a player with Chelsea...

Chances both Grealish and Zaha end up at Chelsea this summer? To soften the potential disappointment of that scenario, I'm going to put a little bet on...

thanks trix, this grealish stuff reignited in a few places yesterday, not sure if he's the right fit but in poch we trust.
Bit gutted about zaha but imagine we are reasonably well stocked in attacking midfield.

Some of these deals have been revived more often than Bobby Ewing (some of you teens wont get that reference...) Fingers crossed we get something over the line soon to settle everyone down.

First post here, but have to say I have loved being a lurker on this hilarious forum. I will see if I can pop a few quid in the kitty on pay day.

With reference to the ITK, this surely has to be the weirdest window for a long time. With all the external factors, that we have seen repeated over and over; world cup, early closure, etc I think we are playing the only game we can. I for one am excited by the prospect of Jack Grealish and relish the thought of what Poch could do with a player like that. I sincerely hope he is on board with this venture though, as it does have a hint of the DL perfect deal - young, English talent with resale value at a club that's broke.

Anyway, let's enjoy these last few days and hope we all end up happy! Well, judging by what I regularly witness in here, that is impossible I suppose!
Thanks to all the ITKers and the staff for the site for your efforts!

Congratulations on your first post.

Don’t forget Poch has also said in the past he thinks it’s important for a club to have players native to the country they are from. So it’s not just Levy who likes to bring in the young English players.

Trix's Grealish update proving that any and all transfers are fluid in this window, maybe moreso than ever.

No deal is dead until the window is shut, IMO.

Don't make me get my hopes up, this spurs transfer window could be a case study of how to develop bipolar.
