Is it not the case that the scouts probably said Suarez plays in Van Der Vaart's position and is therefore not the type of striker we were looking for?

Well from the papers it looked like redknapp blamed the scouts and said he was wrongly advised. Suarez has played upfront on his jack for Liverpool and done a cracking job. Reminds me of tevez.

No some papers took his quotes out of context so it seemed like he was blaming the scouts. What he was actually saying is the scouts thought that Suarez would not fit into our system. Redknapp actually challenged this view point but I think the scouts where right

Anyway I think there is a reason Pablo's rep isn't always so high. He said our goalkeeper targets are a 18 year old Barca outfield player, and a goalkeeper who has just been linked to us in the press this morning. I hope this is a simple case of misspeaking (his source mentioned both the players pablo simply presumed they where both keepers) Anyhow I trust it was posted in good faith, and I for one would not be surprised if its true.

Muslera is a fantastic goalkeeper, and seems like there is a chance that he will leave Lazio. He does however not always seem like a goalkeeper to give confidence to the defense
