What's going, we are heavly linked with all of those after Dembele £15m deal confirmed:

M'Villa £15m
Moutinho £22m
Willian £20m
Remy £15m
that's £85m .. and £100m with Dembele ..

surprised, we sold Luka for £33m and looks like VDV off to HSV for £13m = £46m
can't see Levy spending more than £20m net spend.. unless some of the likes Dawson, Parker, Huddlestone, Jenas, Lennon & Defoe could follow. i wish Dawson, Parker, Lennon & Defoe all staying.. we still need them, even if we signed all of these players !!

Have you heard what he did to Fiorentina?* I'd love a 'no baggage' Berba in the squad but it is not worth the risk of upsetting the happy ship AVB.

The way i see it.

Lloris - 13 m (replacing Gomes - 7/10 m)
Moutinho - 22 m (replacing Luka 30/33 m, Niko 5 m)
Remy - 15 m (replacing Pav 10/12m)
Dembele - 15 m (replacing Pienaar - 4 m, VDV - 14 m)
Vertoghen 12 m (replacing King nil, Bassong 4 m)
Sigurdsson 8 m (replacing no one specific)
Adebayor - 5 m

If we get some stuff in for Jenas and Bentley - 5 million between the two of them thats a net spend of 90 - 79 milllion = 11 million net spend.

Obviously all the above is about estimates and assumes Gomes,VDV are going (based on ITK) and hopefully Jenas and Bentley as well. But in my view its realistic and one or two more out like Defoe GDS and Rose maybe (perhaps even Daws and Hudd) it will actually leave us with a completely revamped younger fitter squad with a net surplus. In which case well done Dan Levy. He's done a pretty good job so far anyway.

Remy does give us some versatility in the final third but primarily would play instead of Lennon on the right hand side but could deputise when Adebayor isn't playing.

Not overly convinced by him but can see the logic.

I don't think it's a case of that at all. The ITK is saying Lloris and Moutinho and SSN (and older ITK) is saying Remy. All play in different positions so it's not a case of either/or and it seems do-able on a rudimentary net spend assessment.

The Moutinho updates are great news to wake up to and probably Lloris too!
Not especially keen on Remy but if we get those 3 in it will have been a very decent window.
