All our info still looking promising, going to be a massively distracting couple of days!!

Would like to see the two defenders announced today though, would give optimism that the ducks are genuinely in a row and that the burn down list for tomorrow is manageable.

Massive thanks to all the ITKers for sharing what they have, makes this such a fun place to be, especially as we count down the hours

Morning all. Great thread and management thereof. In an all day workshop to discuss conflict controls relating to market abuse.

What I'm saying is, please itk gods keep posting so I can keep reading under the table.

To make sure I'm not spamming I can confirm the overdraft has been open all weeeek. It's 150m, almost three times what it has been previously. Also we have cash ready.....doesn't mean we will use it.

Edit. I know this as the RCF (revolving credit facility) is now syndicated amongst 4 banks with. It used to be two. Same "lead arranger" bank but mine is now involved. As are the Americans.

Edit 2. Nothing to do with stadium funding.

We could do with a couple of 'we are glad to announce' from Spurs official, just to keep the natives appeased. Whilst so many remain outstanding, it looks like too big a task, and just asking for 'we tried but just couldn't get it done in the time we had'. Whereas, Foyth and Aurier announced this morning suddenly it looks a brighter, more achievable target left to work on.

We pretty much know Foyth is done, plus Hercules seemed quite (almost knowingly) confident last night on Aurier. I'd assume Barkley is just haggling over fee still, but Everton need to sell, so probably just finding a mutual price, maybe lowered since his injury. Beyond that, possibly a left field project pacy forward (this year's Njie or Nkoudou), which I'd be happy enough with, keep digging it that pool and one should eventually be a Dembele rather than Njie. Hercules has praised Hitchen big time in previous posts, and his area of expertise is French football, so maybe a hint of what to expect. Probably easier to get over the line a project signing that a bigger name.

Fingers crossed. Thanks to all who've contributed ITK, and those who have kept the place running. Gonna be a lively two days. COYS.

The longer it goes on without Foyth (and potentially Aurier) being announced the less confidence I'll have about our other targets. Could see us saving announcements for tomorrow for (shallow) PR purposes.

I'm sticking with the ITK for now though. Busy couple of days ahead!

Great, just one player then :(;)

Not been much evidence in the past of us using it. Must have been in a high interest account. Have to say I'm surprised things are done this way - I guess you need the evidence. It's not like you can just disappear with the goods.

Agreed and most teams have it now although can't comment on size or use. See it as a nice to have and then if we use it. We then pay a fee to keep it open until closed.

It's not a high interest. We pay a clever fee for it to be open for a short period (which is lower as keeping it always open as the banks don't use capital). Then we pay interest as long as it's open.

What I can't say is that it's only for players.

Players aren't paid for all upfront though are they.

Was thinking the same. If sissoko 30 mill, was 6 per year - that would maybe just need the guarantee of the first six?
Anyway, we probably wount use it, or all of it, but nice to see we are prepared to spend!

Not doubting your Information for one minute but why have a £150M overdraft for a transfer window. Spurs are never going to shell out that much money. At tops we will spend the £110M from sales and sell ons from 2017 imo, and I doubt that.

Because in the very unlikely event that a great opportunity arises at the last minute lack of funds won't be an issue...

You assume we got all the cash upfront on the sales. Doesn't work that way. All this allows us to do is go into bidding in a massively strong position. But agree 150 seems high

He didn't say we would be shelling out anything.
