Its going to be an interesting day I feel. I think we will release a story of a bid for Schneiderlin. Help his cause a little

Won't be long until the press run a story that we have moved target to Jordie Classie, true smokescreen style. Southampton know there is no way back for Morgan now.

I think the chairman of Soton had to placate his fans bwst he can by appearing tough. Likely scenario is that our bids are lower than his valuations and he is trying to play hard ball with DL by giving him until the end of yesterday to meet their valuations I think this about transfer valuations and IF it happens he will say he could do nothing about it but get best money

It's the scum factor that worries me with Schneiderlin.

Yes he seemingly prefers the idea of playing for Poch again, but he'll also be desperate for a route out of Southampton now... I just hope they don't front cash that's too good to refuse.

"Trying to play hardball with DL"???
That's like trying to play pat-a-cake with a great white shark: it's going to leave you grateful if it only costs you an arm and a leg.

I bet Morgan didn't even send that tweet. During contract talks, MS went for a wee and forgot his phone and Daniel Twitter raped him.

ITK on Southampton side suggests deal is close. ITK on our side suggets otherwise. I'm hoping selling club ITK is more accurate in general, in that there is an acceptance player is off.

I'll be neither ecstatic nor disappointed with either either signing going ahead or not. Rodriguez is perhaps more what we need. Someone like him, Remy or even Welbeck for the lwf/striker role. I think we need someone more in the Pjanic mould in CM personally.

With all the fuss aronund MS and his tweet, I wonder what J-Rod is thinking about all this. Both of them will be fully aware of the media stories linking them both to Spurs so you would expect him to be just as annoyed as Morgan.

Spurs arguably need to find a way to offer cash plus players I think. The hard part of course will be convincing any of our players to leave and play for Saints with the way it's going down there.

Whats forgetting his phone got to with with being raped? He couldn't call for help?

Oh you mean Fraped? Or as it's Twitter, Traped?

I think J Rods situation is slightly different to Schneiderlins... Given the injury I think he might be more prepared to sit tight until Jan

The longer this goes now the more chance Arsenal are likely to get seriously involved. I totally believe we're his preference and Arsenal are just sitting their in the background waiting to see what develops but this will bring pressure on all parties involved so if we have a strong desire to get him I think we're going to have to show our hand soon enough.

Otherwise player could get frustrated and Arsenal could come in with a slightly higher amount and get him.

Im not saying that we will come out and declare a 16m bid has gone in. Just dont be surprised if all the media outlets all of a sudden agree on a value for him.

All clubs do it
You mean leak details?
I think we've done that for years.
Just not always true ones lol.
