Good to see JJ still positive. Witsel may just happen, although I'd be paranoid of Chelsea doing another Willian on that one. Maybe a loan if they aren't as keen on selling and need to shift foreign players.

As for Berahino hopefully common sense prevails, we offer a good fee and they accept. They have clearly been preparing for this all summer.

As usual the little midget has overplayed his hand and is leaving us looking desperate

DM will be Tom Huddlestone

Striker will be Jermain Defoe

But the teams around have have more talent. That's the problem.Liverpool bought early and bought well
People said the same last year and the year before. They have only bought well if it works out for them - time will tell.

Can you tell me what you don't understand in the following that has been bandied about several times - 'The state of affairs will be discussed once the window has slammed shut and we know what the state of affiars actually is.'

So just to make sure you understand - wait until the window shuts before coming to a conclusion

My conclusion was that a striker and a dm were important positions to fill than a wing forward. I understand these positions could be resolved tomorrow, but I would have been more comfortable if the situation was reversed. Do you understand my point now?

And they've picked up points through dodgy ref decisions and got battered by West Ham. Everyone else isn't as well off as people think imo. We've brought some good players in, the majority of the shit has left, Kane and Lloris are still at the club and the ITK remains positive going into these last few hours. Wish we could hold off on the doom and gloom for a little bit longer.

Agreed, from what I've seen so far there really hasn't been much between ourselves, Utd, Arsenal or Liverpool performance wise. We have just had worse luck. A good day tomorrow and I think we can have a good season.

Well he could still go to a PL team. Most of the European market is now closed, only decent league that's still open apart from the PL is the Portuguese .

At this point, we need a striker and a dm minimum.

I'd happily take Sandro back on loan and Austin for £15m.

Think tomorrow will be a disappointment but JJ seems positive so maybe it'll all work out.

If he's that homesick we could lend him to an Argentinian club. Maybe exchange for a decent striker.

Never would i have thought i'd be talking about our record signing like that.

Added to which there is a reasonable probability that both Liverpool and Chelsea will change managers mid-season.

If he's homesick that would be a possibility but I doubt he is. I think a loan/permanent deal to Porto sounds more likely if he were to move outside the PL. But yeah depressing stuff he haven't lived up to expectations.
