Is there actually ITK on Witsel or just speculation?

Speculation ATM, hence not being mentioned/discussed. However, it does highlight the advantage we may have in trying to sign European players and maybe why (among the usual other reasons) we are leaving things soooo late.

Am really liking this delay in our transfer window over Europe, basically we get free shot at any outgoing European players if the big clubs in Europe can't get a deal done by tonight.

(Think a certain Belgian CDM being chased by a big Italian club....see player thread)

Tuesday will be hunting season for PL clubs across Europe....

Not to mention we need to sell Lamela by tonight or we won't have an extra 15 mill or so to spend

There's been no ITK on a CM since Illarramendi ITK. All the Witsel and Wanyama noise is coming from the press.

But then Son came first from local German press, just like it is local Milan sources saying we are their big rival for Witsel.

I'm putting the lack of ITK down to we are in negotiations with a world super star, and don't want to jinx things.

ITK the past few weeks has me convinced we'll land a striker and a DM which would complete an awesome transfer window.

If we land both, I'll cover the server costs for a month (think A&C has said £400??)

If we only get one of the two, I'll donate half, £200
