Tbh I don't get why anyone is crying about Adebayor and his actions?

He is looking after his own, as annoying as it is we gave him the contract.

At the end of the day not every player treats football as some passion or hobby... To some as hard to believe as it is, it's simply a job.

If we aren't willing to subsidize his wages whilst he is on loan, why expect him to take a sizable pay cut to play for a mid table side like West Ham?

He can easily wait a year and still pick up a big fuck off contract from the Middle East or somewhere.

Sure it'd be nice to get him off the bill but I don't get the surprise at his decision...

You're basically expecting someone to take a pay cut to actually do some work?

How many would do that in real life?

It's like we demand a little bit that footballers are emotionally one dimensional so we don't have to be. Pride! Passion! But would i give up 20k a week? it'd be more than I've seen in my life by Halloween. No. Like Winston Bogarde said "Why should I throw fifteen million Euro away when it is already mine? At the moment I signed it was in fact my money, my contract." The accounts are that Ade's generous - I've seen villages in west Africa where all the infrastructure might not cost much over 20k - clinic, school, well. Maybe he feels he has to earn for Togo!

It's ok when Levy does it.

The fact that Villa was apparently signing him on a perm 2 year contract paying his full wages and everything was waiting to be signed before Ade got cold feet probably makes the clubs and the fans blood boil. Think we are well within our right to be complaining about Ade's actions.
Was not only ever going to be a loan

Martinez. That's 4 German based DMs with been linked with now. What price SSN at some point tomorrow report Levy is in Germany with his wheelbarrow of Euros trying to a deal for Martinez or Rode or Kramer or Bender. It will be just like the Spanish striker jolly of a few years back.

There will be an epic meltdown on SC the likes of which we haven't seen since Moutinho-gate. The first 24 or so hours will see all sorts of creative tortures invented for use on our beloved chairman and the thread will become a seething hotpot of resentment against him that will spill over into the Spurs Chat forum, at which point the BSoDL will become fully mobilised and their propaganda section will swing into action, bringing us timeless gems such as "leeds"…."the grass isn't always greener" and the daddy of them all "be careful what you wish for"……..

All resistance will be ground down and broken up no later than 11pm on Wednesday evening when most of the anti-Levy lobby can no longer be arsed after which normal service will be resumed and Levy again takes his rightful place as the god of all chairmen, blameless for anything. A photo might well appear in the newspapers shortly afterwards of him looking angelic and cherub like. Possibly with a halo superimposed onto the image.

This is how it usually goes down.

Oh…..you were talking about the actual football team side of things…….. View attachment 20017

So the wife is off for a Spa day and staying with her cousin tomorrow, she thinks I'm really generous. Definately going to pay off tonight and more importantly tomorrow when I get a TW closure in peace.

I donated the other day and will do again at the end of the week (i'm moving house Thursday so I need to see what the bloody solicitors leave me).

I'll be amazed if we make a signing above the 10million bracket tomorrow let alone 2.fairly skint at the moment and never donated before but pledging £10 for ever signing over 10mil tomorrow.

I used up my data allowance on my phone today. It renews on Wednesday. Part of me is thinking of not topping it up for that 1 day so that a) I actually do some work and b) I don't spend all day refreshing this page and getting frustrated.

It might be quite nice to get home at 6pm, switch on SSN and watch the aftermath.

I'd contribute £100 if we signed Martinez*

*In true Levy fashion, it'll be payable over a 15-year period, with add-ons dependent on me receiving a certain amount of positive ratings.

Site is going so slow I fear soon I won't be able to rate every single transfer prediction as 'Optimistic' even if it is, in fact, quite pessimistic.
