So we invest in a brand new scouting department along with Mitchell and his black box yet we're still having a scattergun approach of last minute enquiries to fill holes in the squad obvious to everyone since the start of the summer. We really are one of a kind.
Its irrelivant when the only constant over the years is Levy.think overal hes done a good job but due to his pennypinching and brinkmanship we will always go down to the wire to save a few quid

Everybody is Johnny Two-Time today. Is that being caused by the load and related slowdown?

Tbh I don't get why anyone is crying about Adebayor and his actions?

He is looking after his own, as annoying as it is we gave him the contract.

At the end of the day not every player treats football as some passion or hobby... To some as hard to believe as it is, it's simply a job.

If we aren't willing to subsidize his wages whilst he is on loan, why expect him to take a sizable pay cut to play for a mid table side like West Ham?

He can easily wait a year and still pick up a big fuck off contract from the Middle East or somewhere.

Sure it'd be nice to get him off the bill but I don't get the surprise at his decision...

You're basically expecting someone to take a pay cut to actually do some work?

How many would do that in real life?
I would expect a footballer to want to play football. He hasn't played much for a long time so I would expect him to work on a move away. Football isn't like other jobs, it's a high paying hobby. Sure you want big money but truth is most footballers have more money and time than they know to do with. I respect Bentley for stepping away because he wasn't enjoying it anymore. Ade may as well be retired but more following us that we're paying him for the privilege.

People click post, nothing happens for a second, they click post again.
Results in a strained server having to deal with even more work.

Thank you, Captain Obvious. I was specifically talking about Witsel and Berahino. One is in Russia. Hence across Europe. The other is in England. Hence across England.
Naw. I don't buy that. "Across England"? London to West Bromwich. I don't think so.

We've had tons of managers, scouts, DoF's and what have you coming through. But because we're stuck with the same chairman all the time the eventual failure of these schemes is as predictable as it is frustrating...

Javi Martinez has been injured for two years. Is he fit now? Has he played this season or in the pre-season? According to Wiki he played one game last season and none this year.

It's like we demand a little bit that footballers are emotionally one dimensional so we don't have to be. Pride! Passion! But would i give up 20k a week? it'd be more than I've seen in my life by Halloween. No. Like Winston Bogarde said "Why should I throw fifteen million Euro away when it is already mine? At the moment I signed it was in fact my money, my contract." The accounts are that Ade's generous - I've seen villages in west Africa where all the infrastructure might not cost much over 20k - clinic, school, well. Maybe he feels he has to earn for Togo!

It's ok when Levy does it.

Winston Bogarde went bankrupt though:

I fear Ade will have serious problems when his playing days are over :(
