It's about both. And this is why Lennon needs to be shipped out like the rest of the old guard you mention. You only have to look at how great Hull are doing for validation of this.

I agree Lennon should go, especially since a new core seems to have since been established, but Hull's fate is irrelevant to the point I've been making about providing a better foundation through a transition.

But yes, I agree that it is time for Lennon to go.

I think the ITK lines up with what a lot of us already thought; we've simply got too much deadweight that sucks up a lot of our allotted wage bill and now we're likely at the brink so we need to shift out (more than ever) to bring anyone on. We've got so many big earners that aren't contributing (at all) it's pretty sad.

I'd be happy to keep Pauli, think he has looked much better in his recent appearances. He gives us a genuine goal threat from the centre of the pitch, not something any of our collection of CMs does

A bit worrying about the Lamela bid, a club surely wouldn't bid on a whim and with his sudden injury I'm a bit concerned. I'd be incandescent with rage if we are even considering selling him

I'm surprised to see a choice of Walker and Townsend over Naughton and Lennon to leave..and Rose should stay too. I give you Ade, Capoue and Kaboul though

Walker has No footballing Brain and can't complete a pass to save his life. Townsend the same, Rather Lennon then him. And Naughton can defend and is tidy with a pass. Rose is similar to Walker, Rather Davies start and Chiriches(sp) as back up. Just My opinion. :)
