Every team has transfers that don't work out. Our financial limitations require us to take 'punts' which mean by definition some signings won't always work out. But we're bloody good at the transfer game if you compare us to nearly every other club in the league. We just don't get it right 100% of the time, which is totally unrealistic to expect anyway.

Also worth mentioning that a lot of the same people said Son was a flop after his first season. I have learnt to reserve judgment on players as it can change so quickly. I wasn't even convinced by Kane at the beginning!

The kid we were linked with last year that went to Leipzig. Someone mentioned a rumour that we were interested as they're signing Bruma but I don't see any source for the original rumour.

By all accounts though he has struggled over in Germany because of his off the ball work not being up to scratch.

Definitely an exciting talent however.
