Can we stop guessing a cryptic from ColM in a hunch. It wasn't ITK. It's bad enough when the whole thread is guessing ITK, just too much when we are guessing a cryptic in a hunch linked to ITK. There is no room for ITK^2.

Ultimately, we are 26 days to the close of the window.

I believe the ITKs have info on either Barkley or someone not yet known being close to completed.

The right back and young centre half I imagine are deals that are finally coming to fruition. Just all come at once maybe.

But i cant see how the ITK in the last day, particularly JJ and Grey Fox, is anything other than an exciting player.

You obviously haven't supported Spurs for long.

Weren't the majority of the ITK aligned about 3 signings, plus any replacements.
Trying to piece together from there based on how the recent ITK aligns...
GK - Gazzaniga (via Ben on FTL this morning), arguably is he one of the three or just a replacent for Lopez/McGee. Perhaps a stop gap until Lopez comes out of contract next summer, since he was quoted as saying he's not coming this summer. Not a signing to be excited about, so not likely the JJ/GF player.
RB - Pereira/Toljan/Heinrichs, replacement for Walker, fairly imminent (ref Ali Z page 10 of today's thread) Also JJ pretty much confirmed the mystery Italian based player was not a RB, so these three are the only others I've seen linked. Do any of these scream 'keep it under wraps'?
CB - Wimmer's replacement, likely to be a young player (ref Ali Z page 10 of today's thread). Only two young players I've seen linked are Foyth (PSG agreed a fee a good week or two back, but a deal yet to be concluded, and Foyth has been rumoured to be waiting on us as his preference) and Benkovic. BBQ ITK about Mawson a few weeks back all gone quiet, would he be classed as young backup? Again, not the sort of signing we'd need to keep out of the spotlight, although didn't one of the ITK suggest a certain club would be upset once it got out, would PSG be angry if it was Foyth??
AM - Barkley heavily linked in the media, Trix and others all quoted as 'it's being worked on but dependant on other factors'. This is guess would be one of the three non replacement signings. Don't see it as the 'hush hush' player JJ and Greyfox talked about based on the amount of coverage it's already had.
RW/CF - final piece of the puzzle. This for me would probably be the Italian based player, and maybe the one we're keeping under wraps. Hopefully it's a big signing, or a player of such potential it'll be seen as a big success.

Does that about sum up where we are at ITK wise?

Feel sorry for big Kev, always seemed like a decent dude, and was a very reliable rotation option. Like others have said, think we will struggle to replace him with anything better.

I feel sorry for Son. Wimmer played a huge part in Son settling in. Really hope the end of this bromance doesn't affect sonny's form.

Simeone is not a ITK yet. Its only a rumour for time being. So, lets not confuse it here.

But Wimmer isn't established any longer. He was on his way, but lost the trust of the gaffer, it would seem to me. Wimmer played so little last season, that he should be rather easy to replace.

Considering Toby, Van & Dier I think he played very well in the small amount of game time he got. There are a lot worse out there! Where is the intel that says Poch lost the trust of the gaffer. Not supposition but who actually said these words?

To be honest, I half expected Simeone to potentially be in the RW/CF mix, so 5 I'm total (3 incoming plus RB & CB replacements), GK, RB, CB, AM & RW/CF. Trying to fathom from the ITK how many are still feasible.

RB - Viable based on AliZ's ITK.

AM - Sure there were comments from JJ and Trix that this was possible, but that's not as recent. Hertyid said there'd be AM and/or RW, albeit a couple of weeks back.
RW/CF - this role I'm assuming fits JJ & GreyFox's ITK more so than any of the other positions above.

However, just to bring everyone back down to earth, Hertyid did also say it'd be a quite summer, depends how you read into that. Quite as I'm not much doing, or quite as in no major signings, just some squad projects??
