Funds on two signings together (at same time). There is some deals close, and confident will be completed within a quick ‘ish’ time.

The two "exceptional" signings have to be N'Dombele and Lo Celso, right? Bale couldn't be done and dusted this early. If Bale happens, I'm guessing it will be because Levy has strung Madrid out and negotiated a great deal because Madrid had no other options.

N'Dombele and Lo Celso would be a statement indeed and would drastically upgrade the weakest part of the team last year.

Herc also seemed to say that Eriksen (in the Eriksen thread) staying isn't totally out of the question and we could do these two and CE if all things worked out perfectly. That would be amazing.

But common sense (yeah, that thing) would say that the squad is at a bit of a cross-roads and needs decent investment, to keep us in the Top-4/CL; a competition that is basically a licence to print money.

That would be good but Herc said 'exceptional' finds on two signings. Sounds more in the price range of Ndombele and Lo Celso (£120m to £130m) than the Sess brothers £25 to £30m. Time will tell.

I wish we would get them at the same time but I don't think we can. And one of them will probably depend on the sale of Eriksen plus Aulas is tough to deal with.

Presuming this is in reference to Ndombele and Lo Celso, Lo Celso will be at Copa America until early July most likely, so I'd be surprised if we weren't trying to push that through in the next week or so. Ndombele is probably just waiting on Aulas to stop being a bastard and penny-pinching.

There was a report that Aulas wants it done by the end of the month as that’s the end of their financial year.
