Just as a tiny addition to my little piece of news in the Barkley thread yesterday:

I was also told to expect the last two weeks of August to be busy for us - Poch has apparently identified two/three positions he wants to strengthen in terms of the squad and there is a list of candidates for this, but he is aware we're always likely to do most of our business late in the window. Any outgoings are likely to depend on these incomings.

Time for Levy to call around and find out who's the cheapest!

I inferred that part from the frequent discussion of it. Yisrael informed me that it wasn't itk. Have your rating and move on. Acting supercilious and creating one post about it after enough clutters this tread enough that it's hard for other members to pick out what is actual itk and what isn't. People like you are likely to blame for things like that continuing rather than instantly being dismissed.

Don't be silly- you fucked up, like we all do from time to time. You aren't the only one to get confused about the club regretting fantasy bollocks that surfaced yesterday and refuses to go away today but no point taking any flack personally. I know that one of those incomings is Barkley, no idea about any other names.

The source is such that I'm not likely to get ITK with any regularity and only ever about current dealings I think rather than exciting new player names - I have absolutely no history of ITK so please feel free to take with as much salt as you can carry, I'll take no offence. I can only say the source is a good one and that's one of the reasons I've only been told some fairly unexciting stuff which only really confirms what we probably have already guessed.

My worry about leaving things so late (i.e. the last two weeks of August) is down to the fact that it leaves very little time for the selling club to identify their own replacement. It's a very risky game, and I hope DL and Poch know what they're doing.

Or, the selling club has already bought a replacement knowing they have to sell because it's the final year of a contract and we can name our price eg barkley and siggy. It's an especially strong position when the player only has eyes for one club.

I think this proves that whatever leaks we had in the club are now long gone. Hense the comparitive lack of ITK info.
