Interesting info, thanks. I wonder if this ties in with igijedi saying today 'No' to today being the day. He usually seems to find out info just before it's announced so I did wonder if he knew about a planned announcement for another day.

Onomah deal is probably a result of the Monday deal - an AM coming in - leaving no room for Josh.

We did get reports just before it was announced though. If we hear about this signing first on the club's channels, and not some other means it'll be great. Shows the club is on top of things. That's not to say if it leaks that it's the end of the world.

If I were Spurs PR department I would sit on this until Monday and announce a different signing first but I doubt they do that because they have been shockingly tone deaf this year.
