I don’t really know what to make of any of it. Between optimistic and pessimistic? Is that good?
i read it as ‘there will be signings, but don’t get too excited about them as it will not be (Poch’s) first choices’.

I think that just means in a state of 'fuck knows'! I guess anything can happen.

Today another day passed in which nothing seemed to advance to a necessary stage, at least to the publics knowledge and literally every day is so vital now, but they all feel so incredibly empty in terms of things happening. Other than Grealish, any bit of business are seemingly only going to be out of the blue ones.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

The only one who really knows what it means is Herc so guessing intent will lead to 1000 theories.

Guess we are just gonna have to wait and see what the next few days bring or not.

I just think we’ve left it too late to get everything done.

We haven’t even shifted any of the deadwood yet.

I think what he’s saying is it will either be amazing or shocking. Sounds like with have all our eggs in some amazing baskets, but we’ll probably end up with nothing but a runny omelette......

I have a feeling that Hercs knows that something is going to happen, but is so excited he is afraid of blurting it out. Fasten your seatbelts, it is going to be a Roller Coaster ride.

Nothing in essence has been left late, as these deals has been mega months in the making. ?⚡️?
So what it comes down to is:

Will Danny buy these players without sales first (brave), knowing he’ll probably take a loss on them selling or loaning in the next 3 weeks as his leverage disappears...

Or will he sit on his hands and not buy anyone and risk the crumbling of everything that Poch has built.

I think he does the former.

Looks more like going tits up at this point. So much for new stadium to show but no signings for Poch to back it up.

One thing we can say, JJ was at the new stadium today,he posted a pic from the stands and talked about how amazing it is so if anyone ever doubted him then you were wrong. Today was for club staff and ex-players only.

He was generally quite chatty, lots of replies to ppl. He said the market is a mess. Agents up to no good, making out their player is coming and will then still be off touting them around.

He said clubs simply don't want to sell but overall he indicated that he expects incomings. Didn't say how many or who they might be.

Deals only take months of you want to drag it out. VDV was signed in rapid time, If it cheap enough Levy would get it done.

As JJ staded and other ITKs before, this seams to be a very difficult transfer window. New kind of game.

it's not a case of dragging it out though. we're supposedly in a different market now, for higher/top tier players. to get these players to join us as opposed to the other big clubs who will either simply overpay (liverpool) or offer ridiculous wages (united/city/chavs) then i've no doubt it takes months to get everything aligned and wait for everyone else to play their hand. these things can unfortunately change at a moments notice and again unfortunately we won't overpay or offer ridiculous wages to close the deal quickly, it's just not how we do things.

for one, i'm taking herc's latest and choosing to be optimistic as always. Am expecting nothing but will always hope for something.
