Deals only take months of you want to drag it out. VDV was signed in rapid time, If it cheap enough Levy would get it done.

I don’t think any deal is cheap enough for Levy, there is - too expensive, way too expensive, your having a laugh son and I’m not paying that ever so Jog on.

It was fastened for fricking months, but it chafed something awful. Now my feet are on the dashboard, I'm fiddling with the radio, and the seatbelt is well and truly retracted. When we nudge gently into that roadside hedge at a breakneck 1km/h, I'm not sure I'll even notice.

If anyone on this forum honestly believes we will sign a 50m + player in the next week then they need help.Time and time again we are spun the same information from different places. Players in place for the summer was gospel in the winter, big signings for the new stadium etc. Been on here a while and it’s always the same. Thankfully the season is nearly here and we can get down to football. No coincidence that certain players contract renewals haven’t hit the press yet. The club knows full well they are not splashing the cash on players, hence the new contracts that will be released this coming week.

As JJ staded and other ITKs before, this seams to be a very difficult transfer window. New kind of game.

I appreciate that it just not that straight forward to buy the right players, especially 3. But surely there is no reason why Levy couldn't have made a real push our primary signing early. Then try and fight for better deals in other areas but it would leave Poch with something to work on.

Coming around to this way of thinking myself unfortunately and think the club leaks some stories/info which probably don't have much substance behind it. With Alderweireld's departure looking inevitable, we will probably sign a player or two but will most likely be a case of adding players that beef up the squad that we hope can eventually push on and strengthen the first team i.e Grealish.

Think we would like to sign a quick wide forward i.e Martial/Zaha but with Moura only signing in Jan, not convinced the appetite is there to really push the boat out for one of those two. Think it's a case of, yes if it's one our terms, we will deal but will walk away if the price is deemed excessive or involves getting involved in an auction with another club. In today's market, difficult to avoid either and it's getting quite difficult to find what we deem as value for money.

Sounds interesteing as there is stuff thats been disclosed privatley.. defo sounds like we have a plan thats only now being executed for whatever reason .. but defo something i feel is going to be positive

As for Herc’s final missive of the day... I will inevitably delude myself and interpret the fireworks as a good thing and something we will all celebrate. Either that, or he’s just really into fireworks!!!

Thank you Herc. Surely, surely, surely the mega months of planning from DL is our player whom hasn't been mentioned yet in the press. It has to be. Poch ain't no fool, nor is DL. Can't wait to hit the refresh button all week long.
