When everyone is fit there's possibly 1 AM space on the bench and that's excluding Lamela onomah nkoudou sissoko edwards
Current best bench:
Vorm wimmer trips dier winks ? Janssen .

This is assuming we are giving janssen another chance. So imo it really is possible upgrade on wimmer and the AM.
Unless you want to spend £50-60m to find someone better than dembele or son/eriksen.

All the ITK so far suggests that almost all the players we have been linked with are no-goers (which frankly is a bit of a relief as most have been deeply uninspiring ) and that we will eventually add to our squad.

There's little reason to think that Levy won't do what he normally does and wait until the big teams and those with cash burning a hole in their pocket have shot their load and then looking at our list of players we would like and seeing who is left and playing hardball in a buyers market.

If you look at a team like Everton who have already spent nearly £90M of the anticipated Lukaku/Barkley largesse on Jordan Pickford-Sunderland, £30m, Davy Klassen-Ajax, £23.6m, Henry Onyekuru-Eupen,undisclosed, Sandro Ramirez-Malaga, £5.25m and Michael Keane-Burnley, £30m you can see that they have paid top whack for the luxury of early transfers. Only Sandro Ramirez who had a £5.25M buy out clause is a Levy type signing

I suspect that when the window closes most of us will be happy with our dealings if only because our expectations will have been so successfully lowered.

We all love a zero net spend window, none more so than Comrade Levy

If the ITK is anything to go by, I expect the odd Heung-min Son type signing this window. By the time the media even caught wind that we were interested, we'd announced his signing the very next day. There's probably a lot going on behind the scenes, we're just keeping the information on lock down (understandable after the Willian fiasco).

It's frustrating for us because it doesn't look like anything is happening, and with all our rivals spending big, it doubles down on that frustration, but we just have to keep faith that we're working on something.

Of course our rivals spend a lot of money. They are all trying to catch up to us. Even Chelsea know that they'll have European football to contend with this season, and will have to strengthen their squad.

One of the good things about us being so quiet this window is the press have had absolutely nothing to write about us - notice how traditional scum-rags like the Mail, who usually spend every summer without fail publishing daily stories that all of our players are off to United. have had feck all to say about us for weeks. It's quite nice.

I think more like Sissoko type....
